Pop/redirect traffic dead or still alive? which one wins?

so i've been messing around with pop and redirect traffic for a while now and honestly it feels like a ghost town sometimes like yeah a few years back it was king but now? seems kinda dead or maybe just not worth the hassle anymore but then again some guys still crushing it with it so im here wondering is it a relic or does it still have legs? i mean the ctrs and cpc are lower but the volumes can still be there if you know what you're doing right? then again the red flags are everywhere with ad networks cracking down and strict policies so do you think its still worth chasing or just move on to newer stuff? anyone still making good $$$ or is it just a waste of time? imho maybe some niches still hold up but for general traffic it feels risky now especially with all the blackhat bans coming through fast. what's your take fam? is it a dead end or a sleeper? also, anyone got stats or proof they're still making decent revs? gotta see the proof to believe it lol

I'd say like 70% of the networks are tightening up now. Feels like they're just waiting for blackhat stuff to slip through. Unless you got solid legit traffic, it's probably a gamble. Might as well focus on safer methods honestly.

Different angle: maybe pop and redirect traffic aint dead, just evolving. Sure, CTRs and CPCs are down but if you got good targeting and legit traffic sources, it can still work. Networks tightening up makes it riskier but also weeds out the amateurs. gotta keep testing and adapt, might still pull decent revs if you play smart.

different angle: yeah volume can still be there but fam, real talk, you gotta diversify. don't rely solely on pop/redirect, combine it with legit channels. if you focus on scaling legit traffic, you'll dodge a lot of the crackdown noise and still make good revs. tried that myself, it's less risky lmao

Haha, true dat, but I remember back in 2018 I was still crushing with pop redirects, then network got sus and I got banned overnight lol.

Bruh, those red flags are legit. If your main revs are from pop/redirect, better keep a close eye on the bans or it's dead quick. newer stuff might be safer long term, but if you got legit angles and good control, some still making decent bank. just gotta stay smart.

Nah, I think that's kinda naive. Bans happen all the time, and yeah they can kill a campaign fast but the real pros already know how to adapt. It's not about just avoiding bans, it's about having legit backups and different angles ready. If you just rely on pop/redirect, you're kinda riding a ticking clock imo.

Haha, pop/redirect feels like that old arcade game you keep trying to beat but the machine keeps spitting out coins lol. I played with it till 2020, then boom bans came fast and furious.

Yup totally agree that bans are a real threat but still some guys keep making good $ with pop/redirect. It's all about how u adapt, using fresh angles and avoiding the obvious red flags. If u got legit methods, it's not dead yet.

bruh I remember back in the day popups were king, then bam, ghost town. now its like they're lurking but nobody really trusts em anymore. still some use em, some don't. just depends on the vibe and the offer, ya know?

Yep exactly, I remember when popups used to crush everything, now they're more like a ghost town, some still try but ain't what it used to be

Ever mess with pop/redirect traffic recently? I tried a few campaigns last month and honestly it felt like shouting into a void, no clicks no conversions. kinda like they're hanging on by a thread but maybe still some life

Bruh, pop/redirect ain't dead, just sneaky. one tip try rotating your landing pages every few days, keeps the traffic from ghosting u.

"Pop/redirect traffic dead or still alive" - ever tried cloaking your redirects? might keep some of that traffic from bouncing so quick. or is that just wishful thinking?

last month i tested pop/redirect and it still pulls decent conversions. imo, it's all about how you set it up and avoid getting flagged. sometimes old tactics still got legs, just need to tweak the angles.

ngl last month i ran a pop/redirect campaign for 3 weeks and kept detailed stats. had a 4.2% CTR and about 1.8% conversion rate. compared to last quarter's data when i used direct links, conversions were 25% lower. still works if you keep it fresh and avoid getting flagged.

Yup exactly, but I gotta disagree a bit. I think pop/redirect is more sus now, and it's a gamble. I've seen it tank in some niches, so maybe it still works but only if you really know how to hide it.

Last month i ran a pop/redirect campaign for a couple weeks and it still pulled pretty decent conversions, like around 2%. It's definitely not dead, but you gotta be careful with how you set it up and keep it low key. If you know how to hide it and stay under the radar, it can still work. But yeah, it's more sus now, so you gotta test and tweak a lot.
