Ok hear me out I think prairie is missing the point here a little yes running a week-long test is a good start but it's not the be-all-end-all proof either just like inflate said unless you control all the variables it's just noise the signal quality the background apps the screen brightness all those things are gonna skew your results no matter what and honestly comparing two phones side by side might give you a clue but it's still not gospel for the real world where signal quality can change every second and background apps pop up like whack-a-mole so yeah wireguard might be lighter in code but in terms of real life battery saving it's probably just one piece of a much bigger puzzle.
