VPN for streaming - which actually works with Netflix?

So I posted about VPNs and Netflix before, but I gotta question the hype around certain ones. Everyone keeps pushing these top-rated VPNs claiming they work flawlessly with Netflix, but I've tried a handful myself and it's a mess. Some get blocked, some are slow as hell, and others just never work on certain regions. Like, I read a bunch of reviews saying VPN X is the holy grail, but when I tested it, it was crawling or straight up blocked after a week. No way I'm gonna rely on just one VPN for streaming if it's this flaky. I also noticed that a lot of the "Netflix-friendly" VPNs are pushing speed tests and claiming

Honestly, I've had better luck with ExpressVPN for Netflix, it's kinda one of the few that seems to stay reliable over time w/o constantly getting blocked

Different angle: I used to swear by a VPN that everyone said was solid, then boom it got completely blocked by Netflix after a few months. The moment they start cracking down harder, all those "Netflix-friendly" VPNs start feeling like a gamble. No VPN is gonna stay perfect forever, bruh.

Most of those VPNs claiming to work flawlessly with Netflix are just hype. I've tested over 30 in the last year and only a handful stay reliable longer than a month before Netflix blocks or throttles them. The real ones have constant updates and rotating IPs, but even then, it's a game of whack-a-mole. Don't rely on one, keep backup options and test regularly.

careful with trusting those "Netflix-friendly" claims, most of it's just hype. tested over 20 VPNs, only a few stayed working longer than a month before Netflix shut them down again.

i gotta say I agree, I tried a VPN that everyone raved about, and it worked fine for like a week, then boom, blocked. Now I just use different ones depending on the region, lol. Seems like no one VPN stays reliable long term.

try looking for VPNs that have dedicated streaming servers and regularly update their IPs, that usually helps avoid Netflix blocks.

Careful with that advice, not all dedicated servers actually work all the time, Netflix cracks down pretty fast. Sometimes even the "best" VPNs get blocked, so don't rely just on that. Best bet is to test a few, see which still work with Netflix today, but don't get comfy.

bruh, exactly, that's the real deal. no matter how legit a VPN claims to be, Netflix can crack down fast. best to keep a few backups and rotate IPs if you wanna stay ahead. relying on just one VPN is like playing with fire.

ok so appreciate the tips guys, yeah, dedicated streaming servers help but Netflix's always updating their blocks. I keep a few VPNs on hand and rotate IPs sometimes, that's how I stay in the game. No single VPN is foolproof, ymmv.

I think most VPNs claim to work but Netflix's got pretty aggressive VPN detection now. Have you tested any that seem to bypass it consistently or just going by reviews?

different angle: maybe look beyond just VPNs that claim to work with Netflix and consider the ones with dedicated streaming servers, they tend to be more reliable.

last month i tried a bunch of VPNs, and honestly some just worked without even switching to dedicated servers. afaik, netflix's detection is always changing so maybe my experience is different from yours. you ever try rotating servers fast or using obfuscated ones

Try looking at VPNs that have a good rep for not just claiming they work but actually running test servers for streaming fam I remember last year I just picked one based on real user reviews and it stayed solid for months lmao

Careful with just relying on VPNs claiming they work, always check recent user reviews for streaming. I found NordVPN and Surfshark pretty solid rn but Netflix keeps cracking down so it's a game of cat and mouse. Sometimes switching servers or protocols (like OpenVPN to WireGuard) helps get around detection.

i'd say about 70% of the VPNs i tried last year still work for Netflix but it's always a cat and mouse game. i've personally had good luck with surfshark and some smaller ones like aveno, but honestly, it keeps changing so gotta keep testing and reading fresh reviews. smh at how often Netflix cracks down tho
