Sweepstakes Offers - CPL vs SOI vs DOI, anyone tested?

Been running some sweepstakes campaigns lately and noticed big differences in payout and conversion quality depending on the setup. CPL is straightforward but the payout per lead isn't always enough, while SOI and DOI seem to pull in higher payouts but with more fraud risk. Curious if anyone here did a deep comparison, ymmv, but I'm seeing some offers skewed heavily towards DOI, yet the fraud flagging is insane. Are we just trading more revenue for more headaches? Would love some real-world data or warnings before I go all in on one model.

just my 2 cents, maybe try a fraud detection tool like Fraudlogix or Exposé to catch some of that risk early, so you can maybe push DOI offers without losing your mind. idk if it'll fix everything but could save some headache and maybe make it more worth it. are we just trading more revenue for more headaches?

ok so 85% of the time fraud flags are just false alarms, so are we really trading headaches for more revenue or just chasing phantom gains? Ever tested combining fraud tools with manual vetting?

You should check out Pixalate, bruh, they have pretty solid fraud detection for sweepstakes and can help reduce those false flags. sometimes a good tool can save your sanity and your bankroll. worth a shot lol

ever looked at the actual payout ratios? Like, is DOI pulling 3x or more than CPL on average? Sometimes the higher payout isn't worth the headache if fraud eats up a big chunk.

Actually, I think you meant to say that CPL is straightforward but the payout per lead isn't always enough, right? I ran a few tests and found that sometimes the DOI offers can be 4-5x the CPL payout but the fraud flags go thru the roof, which makes me wonder if the extra revenue is really worth the headache. One time I spent a week chasing DOI offers and ended up wasting half my budget on fake leads.

so, are you seeing better ROI on DOI despite the fraud risks or just chasing higher payouts? i played around with DOI a bit and yeah, the fraud flags are nuts, but the payouts can be pretty juicy if you got good fraud filters in place. still, kinda worried about losing more on false positives than making on real conversions. anyone really cracked the code on balancing that?

ever tried balancing the risk with a super tight fraud filter and a decent payout cap? I once dove headfirst into DOI, thought I was gonna hit the jackpot and ended up chasing ghosts. Anyone found a sweet spot or just constantly adjusting the needle?

Honestly, I think a lot of folks overlook the fact that DOI can sometimes be more about volume than pure payout, but yeah the fraud flags are wild. I'd say if you're gonna chase DOI, invest in tight filtering and maybe a whitelist, but don't go all-in without testing small first. The risk can kill your ROI fast if you don't keep it in check.

different angle: i actually tried that once, spent ages tweaking filters and caps, thought i was gonna tame the fraud beast lol but still got flagged hard sometimes. end up losing some legit leads and not much ROI boost, so now im kinda wary of pushing DOI too far. just not worth the headache imo.

Have you found any of these to convert better in your experience? I've mostly just done CPL but curious if SOI or DOI actually perform well too

been doing this 3 years, id say test all three and track to see what hits better but focus on audience behavior and offer relevance more than just CPL, SOI, or DOI labels.

Just my 2 cents, but I've seen stuff convert different depending on niche and audience. CPL usually good for quick wins, SOI can be more targeted but slower, DOI kinda depends on offer quality. Best to test all, track, and see what really hits your traffic.
