Update on that AM ghosting thing I posted earlier where everyone said just personalize your messages turns out the advice was noise and here's why I stopped bothering with personalized outreach and just focused on scaling a single campaign from PropellerAds because you can't ghost someone who isn't trying to talk to you anyway my weekly numbers for this month finally hit $400/day profit so technically almost at the target of $500 but here's how it actually broke down The bottleneck wasn't the adspend or offer it was always fresh LP angles after two weeks of banner fatigue CR dropped like 40 percent tried swapping out five pre-made landers from my vault and none worked ended up scraping three competitor pages on SpyFu mashed them together with some weird auto insurance wording that doesn't even match my offer properly but somehow the CTR jumped up by like 70 points guess users just wanted smth they hadn't seen fifty times before My actual scaling strategy was dumb simple just doubled the budget every day while watching EPC if it dipped below break-even point I paused for a few hours then resumed PropellerAds didn't cap me surprisingly took about ten days to go from fifty to four hundred daily spend now sitting at around thirty percent ROI which is fine for this tier honestly lesson learned personalizing emails to AMs is useless when your own campaign data tells you exactly what to fix

Interesting how you say personalized outreach is noise but then you say scraping and mashing competitor pages worked better. I probably messed this up but owned traffic sources like an email list always beat rented in the long run, especially for high LTV GEOs. I get scaling fast but don't forget about retention and data control.

Yeah, I see what you mean but here's the thing though if your outreach is off it doesn't matter how good your landers or angles are you're flying blind on the CR side you need to track it or lack it and rely on actual data not just assumptions scraping and mashups can give you a quick bump but if you want scale long-term server-side tracking is non-negotiable in 2024 without it you're just guessing and playing roulette with your ROI my 2 cents.

owning traffic is always better if you got the data. but i'll believe it when i see the proof that your email list is actually converting more sustainably than rent. that's a bold claim.

So you think owned traffic like email always wins long term. But what if the email list is dead or cold? How many of those leads actually convert w/o constant nurturing? Rented traffic can be just as sustainable if you keep the funnel fresh and avoid the set and forget trap. Sometimes owning isn't owning if it stops performing.

So you say scaling a single campaign from PropellerAds worked better than personalizing, but how do you know your data isn't just a fluke? maybe you got lucky with that mashup lander and it won't hold up once fatigue kicks in again. your whole approach seems super reactive, which is fine but how sustainable is it long term? just curious if you've tested this with other niches or offers, or if it's more like a one hit wonder.

Test it, always test it. flukes happen but if you keep testing new angles and creatives you'll find what works and what doesn't and eventually you won't rely on luck. mashups might seem lucky now but that's just part of the process

shrugs I mean, if your campaign data is telling you exactly what to fix, why bother with airmail ghosting or personalized outreach? That stuff is spammy and dead weight most of the time. I've seen similar stories where swapping out creative and just doubling budget, watching EPC, and adjusting on the fly beats trying to craft some perfect pitch. Your CTR spike with that mashup is proof people just want new, not personalized, crap they haven't seen a hundred times. Scaling by brute force works when your audience is cold and unresponsive, not when you're trying to build relationships.

Lol, ur story just hit home for me. I swear back in the day u could throw up some crap LP and still scrape decent numbers, now everything's a game of cat and mouse. The mashup tactic u used tho, kinda reminds me of those days when I just threw stuff at the wall and hoped it stuck. Honestly, the fact that u doubled the spend daily and watched EPC like a hawk sounds kinda reckless but also kinda genius in a weird way. Sometimes u just gotta trust the process and see what sticks, even if it's messy at first. And yeah, I agree that most of that personalized outreach noise is just that, noise. It's all about data now, which is kinda sad but also makes the game more predictable if u pay attention. Feels like back in the day u could just throw some generic stuff out there and see what happens, now u gotta be a data scientist to keep the ROI coming. But hey, congrats on the $400 day, that's no joke. U just gotta keep adjusting and not get comfy, 'cause next thing u know the ad landscape will shift again and u'll be back to square one lol.

How stable are those patterns long term or are you just riding a short spike? That cheap GEO can be a 'shiny object' trap if you don't lock in consistency.

yeah, that's the trap. Cheap GEOs are tempting but they can vanish quick or become unpredictable. gotta lock down real consistency or you're just chasing shadows. long term stability is the goal but damn it's hard to get there without bleeding cash in the pain cave.

trust me on this one, long term stability with cheap geos is a pipe dream unless you lock down some tiered links or spammy PBNs to reinforce. short spikes are easy but if you wanna keep that level up you gotta build real layers and not just rely on a few cheap domains. otherwise you'll wake up one day and it's gone.

Bolt you hit the nail on the head short spikes are just that. if you wanna build smth that lasts you gotta layer everything or it's just a flash in the pan. cheap geos are like quicksand if you don't reinforce with legit assets.
