Rev share vs CPA long term, which one actually wins?

so ive been doing both for a few months and yeah there's good and bad for each. rev share feels safer long term, especially if you get good offers in solid niches. you build up steady money and with good traffic you can scale it up without dealing with caps or crazy rules. cpa is more like high risk high reward, payouts are quick but they can be all over the place or just stop if the offer changes. tbh i lean towards rev share lately feels more stable but i still run some cpa tests sometimes to get that extra cash flow going

bruh i dunno about that, ive seen rev share offers get hammered if the niche or offer tanks. sometimes cpa can be more stable long term if you diversify and pick steady offers. it's not all or nothing imo.

that's kinda sus tho, even steady rev share deals can get hit if the niche dies or the offer gets saturated. cpa might be riskier but if u diversify enough, it can give u that quick cash boost when u need it. gotta keep the balance or u'll get burnt out or screwed over.

been doing this 3 years and honestly, unless u got legit solid offers and niches, both can get screwed over quick. I swear by Voluum for tracking cuz it shows u which offers or niches are actually holding up or tank

lol I was running a rev share deal in a niche I thought was solid, then one day the offer just disappeared. switched to cpa for quick cash, but same thing happened when that offer got pulled. so now I keep a close eye on offer expiry dates and schedule regular check-ins.

Ever consider blending the two? Like a hybrid approach where u play it safe long term but still chase those quick wins?

different angle: honestly, i think blending could be risky too, lol. like, trying to juggle both might spread u too thin or mess with focus. i get the idea tho, just worry it might end up being more work than it's worth if u not careful. but maybe if u got a solid plan it could work? idk lol

man, that's the reality with rev share sometimes, u gotta have a backup plan. i'd recommend using a tracker like Binom or Voluum, so u can see if offers are about to dry up and switch quicker before losing a chunk of traffic. seriously, don't rely on one offer or niche, keep testing new sources constantly.

been doing this 3 years, idk which wins long term, but i peeped that blending both can be gold - use rev share for long game and CPA for quick wins, keeps the flow smooth.

ngl i agree, blending can be clutch. CPA's good for quick cash but rev share builds that steady income, imo. Gotta test what works for your niche tho. Catch ya later

tbh last month i tried blending rev share and CPA and honestly it felt like trying to walk a tightrope in a hurricane, ended up just complicating things and not making more rev, sometimes less is more even if it feels safer to diversify.

ok so spot on, but sometimes niche testing can get messy, imo. sticking with one model long term might be more simple and less headache.

isn't it kinda obvious? blending sounds smart but mostly just overcomplicates stuff, especially if you're not experienced. sometimes sticking to one thing is safer, even if it seems boring

Honestly I think it depends on your traffic and niche. Some folks kill it with rev share, others with CPA long term. ymmv but don't get caught trying to force one when the other might fit better.

Ever considered testing both for 3-6 months and tracking ecpm and roi? I've seen rev share hit 2-3x better ecpm on low-converting niches but CPA can outperform long-term if your traffic is highly targeted. Fwiw, data beats assumptions.

actually, the real question should be which one fits your traffic and niche better rn, not which wins overall.

80% of guys I know use Voluum to track rev share vs CPA, ever tried it? Do you think it could help clear up which long term wins?
