push notifications for affiliates? beware of the scam

so i gave push notif traffic a shot last month, thinking maybe it's a hidden goldmine. turns out the biggest pain was all the fake networks and shady offers disguised as legit. legit networks? like 2 or 3 tops. the rest? pure scammy garbage or ghost networks that vanish after you load them with traffic. learned the hard way that most of these push sites are just fronting for fraud. stay away unless you wanna waste weeks chasing ghosts. if you do try it, make sure to check reviews, get paid before scaling, and don't fall for the hype about instant money. also, never rely on the first offer, always vet the network, and watch your metrics like a hawk. trust me, most of these push deals are just trap doors for your budget.

Yeah I get it. Push is like the wild west. Some legit networks but man the scammy ones are everywhere. The math never lies though. If you don't vet hard and keep your metrics tight you get burnt fast.

OP, I gotta say I think you're throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Push traffic can be a goldmine if you know how to play it right. The scammy networks are a problem but not the end of the world. You just gotta vet your sources, test small, and build relationships. Ghost networks?

I get the caution but I think folks overplay the scam risks sometimes. Yeah, there are shady networks, but if you vet well, test small and keep your metrics tight, push can still be profitable. The key is knowing when to walk away from the trash and focusing on legit sources., push traffic is about smart filtering, not avoiding it altogether.

Walking away from trash? Yeah, easier said than done. Been there, burnt some serious budget chasing ghost offers that vanished faster than a bad date. But the real game is in the 'vibe' and experience. You gotta develop that sixth sense for what looks legit on paper but smells fishy behind the scenes. It's all about testing small, building a real network of contacts and never, ever relying on just a handful of sources. The real win comes from knowing your metrics and trusting your gut, not just what some review says. That's where most folks trip - getting comfortable with the illusion of stability while the scammy networks are just waiting to snatch your wallet.

Most of these push sites are just fronting for fraud. test small, vet every network, and track post-click events or you're just guessing. not worth chasing ghosts when your LTV and metrics get wrecked.

Ok hear me out I get the frustration but I think people blow up the scam talk way too much in push traffic it's like saying all funnels are bad cause some scammy ones exist the truth is if you vet right and keep your eye on the metrics it's not a ghost town of frauds just another market that needs smart players not naive ones pushing blindly i swear most of these ghost networks only work if you let them run wild and don't check the details and if you think every offer is shady right out of the gate you're already losing before you start maybe just focus on solid vetting and small testing not throwing the whole thing under the bus that's how the pros do it.

Color me skeptical on that. You're saying push traffic can be profitable if you vet well and keep your metrics tight? Sure, sounds nice in theory but in my experience, most of these ghost networks are just waiting to take your budget and vanish. I mean, if it was that easy, everyone would be crushing it. I'd love to see some real proof, like actual ROI numbers after filtering out the scams.

push notifications for affiliates.
push notifications for affiliates? sure but do you really think they're all legit or are you just opening yourself up to more fraud and low-quality CR? if you're not careful with the targeting and tracking they can be a scam magnet or just spammy noise that kills your CTR and your reputation with the traffic source. ever seen a legit push campaign that actually brings ROI or is it just a shiny distraction?

Exactly. Push can be a goldmine or a scam trap. It all depends on the targeting, tracking, and how clean the traffic is.

RIP to the old days when push was just a simple tool, now it's basically a minefield. Too many people throwing spams and calling it a legit method. Squeezing juice from push needs legit targeting or you just feeding the scam beast.

truth is push can be anything from goldmine to scam zone depending on your setup. if you skimp on the targeting or tracking you just asking for low-quality leads and spam complaints. one bad push stack and you might as well hand over your reputation on a silver platter.

OMG totally, it's like walking a tightrope with push.

U gotta know ur traffic sources or u end up feeding the scam monster. Do ur homework, test small, build trust, or it's just money down the drain.

yeah push can be a double edged sword. seen a lot of guys get cooked with sketchy sources and bad targeting. not saying it can't work but if u don't control the source or the stack u basically feeding the scam beast. gotta keep it legit and do your homework or u end up in spam complaints or worse. it's all about the stack and targeting, not just throwing push out there and hoping for the best. source: i broke it myself.
