Proxies for sneaker bots - warning about the mess

yo been messing with proxies for sneaker bots and gotta say its wild out here. thought i found a good one then bam, detection city, IP blocks, captcha nightmare you know the drill. ive tried residential, datacenter, mobile, everything. they work for a bit then suddenly you're caught. and the quality is all over the place, some cheap ones are just total junk fake IPs. had a decent pool and got flagged HARD. seeing so many posts about "elite" providers that are not elite at all. got mobile from a "top" vendor and caught in like 2 mins on a drop. its a total tightrope walk. swear some are selling scraped IPs that are already flagged or blacklisted. warning dont just go for cheap, check rep, test things, rotate smart, watch your detection stats. ive wasted so much time and money on trash proxies. be careful or you'll end up with dead bots in a ghost town. hope this saves someone the headache. cheers

OP, you gotta be careful with mobile proxies from sketchy vendors, they get flagged quick. also, some so-called "elite" providers are just reselling bad IPs, not real premium stuff. always test, rotate, and watch your stats or you'll waste time and money. learned that the hard way too.

Last month i tried a new proxy service that claims to be "elite" and honestly it was trash, got flagged on first try. i ended up using a tool called ProxyRack, they've got legit residential IPs that actually work long-term without getting blacklisted fast. checking if you're tired of wasting cash on junk proxies.

tbh nah, OP, actually "seeing so many posts about 'elite' providers that are not elite at all" is kinda the norm, not an exception. People hype up stuff they don't even test properly, then get burned. Always do your own testing, bruh.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly, the best tip I found is to always test proxies in a controlled environment before going all-in on a drop. Like, set up a test account and run some quick snipes, see if they hold up. Nothing worse than getting caught mid-drop because you trusted a random proxy and it flopped. Also, keep an eye on the cpm and cpc trends, if they spike unexpectedly, probs flagged IPs sneaking back in

Are you actually testing your proxies on real drops before committing? Ive seen too many folks assume proxies are good after a quick check and then get slammed when the bot runs live. Best move imo is to run a few test snipes on a similar site or with a burner account just to see if the IP is still clean, rather than trusting the provider blindly.

man been doing this 3 years and gotta correct the OP on one thing. Saying some proxies are "scraped IPs that are already flagged" isn't always true. Sometimes legit proxies get flagged just cuz of bad reputation or shared IPs, not necessarily scraped. It's about reputation, not just origin. Always verify with testing, don't assume

different angle: yeah but even legit proxies can get flagged if the vendor isn't constantly updating their pool, so sometimes the "junk" ones might just be poorly maintained legit IPs, not fake. honestly, it's a mess trying to find reliable stuff in bulk, esp with how fast detection evolves.

Actually, i think the OP might be overgeneralizing on those fake IPs. Some proxies that seem junk might actually just be poorly maintained legit ones that got flagged due to vendor issues, not because they're fake. Not all cheap proxies are garbage, ymmv tho.

bruh, been in this game 4 years and honestly most legit proxies get flagged after like 3-4 drops if the vendor isn't tight. I've seen legit pools with 50k+ IPs drop to like 10k in a week if they get scraped or flagged. Ymmv but cheap ain't always trash, sometimes it's just bad maintenance

Different angle: proxy mess is a pain, but have you tried rotating proxies from lesser-known providers? I found some of those are more stable and cheaper, but who knows if they stay legit long term. Do you think it's worth risking quality for price?

rotating proxies can be a mess too, but I found some legit ones that hold up longer than the cheap ones. still, you gotta watch out for scrapers and low quality stuff. no proxy is perfect, just gotta test till you find a semi-stable one

Last month I tried setting up some proxies for a new sneaker drop and smh the mess is real. Even legit providers can get flagged or slow down out of nowhere. ymmv but usually rotating proxies are a gamble no matter what.

Nah, testing forever is a rabbit hole. eventually you burn more time and money than its worth. have you ever actually found a proxy that stayed legit for more than a week? feels like wishful thinking at this point. stay safe out there.
