Proxies for SEO tools, scraping Google safely?

Been messing around with some residential proxies for my SEO tools, mainly for scraping Google without getting flagged. noticed that some proxies work fine with certain tools but tank with others. like, I used some cheap datacenter ones and got temp bans, switched to legit residential and it's smoother but way more expensive. anyone else experienced that? also, what about mobile proxies - are they worth it for Google scraping or just overkill? trying to find that sweet spot between safety and cost. oh and reviews on proxy providers? some are legit, some are total scams. tbh, I just want a reliable setup that doesn't get me banned every other day, but also not draining my wallet. would love some real-world data or setup tips, especially if you've broken down how to integrate proxies with popular SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush

ok so bruh, reviews on proxy providers? U can't trust that stuff, most of it's paid or fake. Better to ask in niche forums where people actually tested em, not some random review sites. And no proxy setup gonna be perfect, but u gotta be smart about avoiding bans, not just cheap or expensive lol

That's the real grind, right? imo, mobile proxies are kinda overhyped for Google scraping, unless you got a budget for that. Usually, legit residential are your best bet but yeah, they eat up your wallet.

yo fam, I once tried mobile proxies just to test if they could dodge bans, but ended up with mad latency and still got flagged after a bit. kinda felt like overkill for my small setup, honestly. so yeah, unless u got stacks to burn, stick to legit residentials and tweak your request patterns, imo

Nah, I think reviews can be kinda biased or paid, but I would suggest sticking to smaller known forums or communities where real people share legit experiences instead of relying on those paid reviews

Last month I tried residential proxies for a client, and we saw about a 40% drop in bans compared to datacenter, but costs went up by almost 3x. mobile proxies? spent a week testing and found they added like 50-70ms latency on average, not worth it unless you're scraping at massive scale.

99% of the proxies I tried for scraping Google just got me blocked or flagged no matter what I did. Once I got a new proxy that claimed to be "google-safe" and used it for a week, I still ended up locked out. smh, feels like a constant cat and mouse game.

Different angle: maybe the real trick isn't proxies but how you're using them. I mean, if you blast Google with high volume all day every day, no proxy or not, you're gonna get flagged. Maybe slow and steady wins some kinda race? Or just accept that scraping Google is always sus and find legit data sources instead.

last month i tried a bunch of proxies for scraping google, same story, got flagged quick. switched to residentials and slowed down my scraping, still dodging blocks better. maybe it's not just proxies but how u use em that counts.

haha, sounds like Google's got a radar for us fam. Maybe it's less about proxies and more about how much and how fast we hit their servers. Slower, smarter scraping might be the move.

70% of my scrapes got blocked in the first hour with datacenter proxies, switched to residential and now I'm at like 10%. My tip, drop your request rate to under 10 per second and add some random delays. It's boring but
