Pop/redirect traffic - still kicking or dead? My latest results

Just ran a quick test last week on pop and redirect traffic for a niche I've been messing with. Usually, I avoid these kinda traffic sources because they're kinda shady and some say dead but man, I just pulled in 120 bucks in 3 days from a small campaign. Started with a $50 budget, ran some cheap pop ads on a CPA offer I knew was converting decently. The first day, barely 20 bucks, but day 2 and 3? Boom, 40 and 60 respectively. Weird thing is the traffic quality was decent, no crazy bounce rates or complaints, conversions looked solid. Usually I'd think these traffic sources are too spammy now but apparently if you target right, it still works. ymmv, but I'm hyped to push it a little more next week. anyone else still getting good results with pop or redirect traffic? or has everyone moved on?

yeah I saw the same shift last year, some pop sources still bring quality if you target right. I had a small run with a niche similar to yours and it crushed for a bit, then it died down, but when I adjusted the targeting, it came back. so I think it's all about how you play it now.

Different angle: if you wanna keep it fresh and not get burned, consider using a tool like Voluum to split test different pop networks and traffic sources. It helps you spot the legit ones quick, and cut out the shady crap before you burn your budget. Trust me, a little automation here can save a lot of headaches.

Haha, I wish I knew about that automation stuff sooner. My last campaign had me clicking through dozens of pop networks manually, lol. If automation can save me time and keep the quality up, I'm all in, da.

Appreciate the tips, guys. Voluum sounds like a no-brainer for split testing, I'll def look into it. Automation would've saved me some headaches last time lol. Keep the good hits coming.

Pop traffic still kicking? Or are you seeing a lot of bounce and ghost clicks? What networks or sources are you hitting up for this?

"Pop/redirect traffic - still kicking or dead" - actually, it's still alive but you gotta be super selective with the networks now. Bounce rates are higher, ghost clicks are more common, so don't just throw traffic everywhere. Pick the ones that still got legit user engagement or you're gonna burn cash quick.

spot on with the bounce issues but in my case pop/redirect traffic still pulls decent if you hit the right networks. ymmv but i find some of the smaller or more niche sources still deliver quality leads, while the big networks have gotten really strict. so yeah, it's alive but you gotta pick carefully.

Actually, I kinda think pop/redirect is getting more dead than alive. The bounce and ghost clicks are just too much now, most legit networks are dropping it. Maybe some small niches still do ok but overall it's a tough scene.

been in this game for a while now and I remember when pop/redirect was king, lol. still get some decent hits here and there but you gotta pick your networks like a hawk or it's just a waste of time. the bounce rates are insane these days.

Pop/redirect still kicking? bruh, if you believe that after the last 2 years, you're sus. bounce rates are through the roof, ghost clicks everywhere, legit networks dropping it like hot potatoes.

Last month I ran a test, got like 2% CTR on pop/redirect but bounce was 70%+. If you find the right network, like with legit geo targeting and strict ref filters, can squeeze out 1-2k rev a day. But yeah, it's all about filtering trash.

Careful with calling it "pop/redirect" still kicking, afaik it's pretty much dead atm. One tip: if you still wanna try, focus on super niche geo and strict ref filters, or you just wasting your time.

Haha, pop/redirect still alive? feels like trying to revive a dinosaur lol. I'd say it's hanging by a thread but not completely dead, just really sus atm. If you got the right network and legit targeting it could still work, but yeah, gotta be careful with the bounce rates and ghost clicks.

Last month I tried a bit of pop/redirect again and yeah, if u don't focus on those tight niches and filters u wasting time. Sometimes u gotta get creative with targeting or it's just dead weight.

Honestly, pop/redirect is pretty much dead unless u got mad niche targeting and legit networks, smh. Tried it last month and it's more sus than ever. Waste of time if u not super specific now.

Like 75% of pop/redirect campaigns I've run in the last 6 months barely hit 1-2% conversions, and that's with legit traffic sources. The key tip? Focus on micro-niches with low competition and always test new offers fast. If you can find a niche nobody's targeting yet, you might still squeeze some value out of it.
