Pop/redirect traffic, still alive or dead? My latest results

been messing with pop/redirect traffic for a few months and tbh i was almost ready to quit. everyone says its dead or too saturated but i gave it another shot last week just to see. tossed a small budget into some pop ads on niche offers and pulled in like 1.2k gross in 7 days. not crazy but it's still working if you know what you're doing. cpms are high tho like 8-10 bucks but ctr is decent around 1.2%. used a few redirect chains with some cloaking and honestly it surprised me how well it ran for a bit. thing is my offers are low comp like 20-30 max but i've seen people getting 50-60 per conversion on the same traffic. bounce rate is the killer its pretty high but if you tweak the redirect flow you can still get conversions. i see people saying its all dead or not worth it but imo if you're smart it still hits. just sharing my results to give some hope or a different take. anyone else still running pop/redirect or is everyone moving on? lmk if i'm missing something here.

Spot on about redirect traffic still working if you stay sharp. My tip would be to focus on better bounce management by adding an intermediate page that warms up the traffic, maybe something like a quick survey or a value add before the final offer. It helps reduce bounce and improves conversion rates long-term.

Yup totally agree, I've seen legit how a small tweak like adding a quick intro page can drop bounce rate like crazy and boost conversions. rn I'm messing with a new flow that kinda pre-qualifies traffic before hitting the main offer, and man, the difference is wild. Sometimes it's just about smoothing out that redirect path, makes all the difference.

ever tried adding a quick quiz or some interactive element before redirecting? it might help lower bounce even more and keep the user engaged longer. u think that could work with pop traffic?

disagree with that, I tried pre-qual flows too but honestly it just killed the vibe for me. the bounce rate stayed high and conversions dipped. sometimes simpler is better, no need to overcomplicate with extra steps that kill user momentum. trust me, tried it all, keep it lean and straight to the point.

i disagree, adding a quiz or anything like that usually just slows the flow and makes bounce worse for me. people wanna get where they're goin and if they don't see what they want fast they bounce. simpler redirect chains work better imo.

yo, just a small correction - in your post, you said "disagree with that," but the previous guy was talking about adding quiz or pre-qual flows slowing down the process. might wanna recheck who you're disagreeing with there, could confuse ppl. and lmao, yeah, sometimes keeping it simple wins. the flow gotta feel natural.

Appreciate the feedback guys, for real. Yeah, bounce management is key, I might try adding a quick intro page like you said. Will keep testing different flows to see what sticks. If anyone's got more tips, drop em here, always trying to optimize. Peace!

different angle: instead of just relying on pop/redirect, try using a tool like Voluum for better tracking and split testing. it helps optimize the flow and weed out what's dead or not. trust me, knowing exactly where the traffic drops off

just my 2 cents, yeah but even with tools like Voluum you still gotta be ready to kill off bad traffic fast or it drags your roi down. no tool saves you from lazy testing.

careful with assuming pop/redirect is dead, try using Voluum to track and kill bad flows fast, it's a must imo. ymmv but consistent pruning beats hope.

quick thought: pop/redirect ain't dead but it's definitely not a walk in the park anymore. i've seen guys think they got the magic and then get crushed when traffic tanks. gotta be super ruthless with killing bad flows fast, or else it's just gonna drain your ROI.
