pop/redirect traffic - my 2025 data is just sad man

remember when you could run popunders on adcash and pull a 0.30 epc w/o breaking a sweat? im talking 2018, maybe a 40k hits a day, cleared like 300-400 a day after the crap traffic (like 15-20% ctr on the lander (good times)). now? same setup, diff geo, epc is 0.04. net 30 payout. feels like shoveling gravel for pennies. im seeing 3x the traffic volume for 1/7th the rev after 7 years. maybe ive lost the touch, or maybe this traffic source is just cooked. anyone got benchmarks that arent from 5 years ago?

if you made 0.30 epc in 2018, chances are you were running much better quality traffic, not just volume. that "w/o breaking a sweat" part is kinda misleading tho, most of that was probably due to less saturation

You sure it was the quality not just the traffic mix? 0.30 epc back then was probably from better targeted or less saturated niches, not just volume.

Yeah, I get that, but even if traffic was better targeted, the margin was huge. 2018 I was pulling 2k+ a day on pop under stuff, now same setup struggles to hit 300. Traffic quality definitely plays a role but algo changes, ad saturation and geo shifts are brutal ymmv.

tbh you ever tried Voluum or Binom for pop traffic? I had a streak where my data was trash and switched to Binom for tracking, got way clearer insights rn.

just my 2 cents, data from pop/redirect traffic can be so hit or miss, especially if you're not tracking properly. I saw a 30% drop in conversions last month till I cleaned up my sources and verified tracking pixels. never underestimate how much tracking setup impacts your data accuracy.

Had a similar thing happen last year, was pouring cash into some sketchy pop networks and my numbers looked like a bad joke. switched up my sources and cleaned my tracking and suddenly I was not so sad anymore lol

Honestly, I think sometimes it's not just the traffic source but how u're handling it. Pop/redirect can be a nightmare to track properly and if ur not constantly cleaning or verifying, ur numbers can get skewed quick. Maybe take a step back, look at ur tracking setup again, and see if there's some bad data sneaking in.

bruh lol I feel that, been there done that, wasted a ton chasing bad traffic. cleanup and legit sources are your friends, always.

Always check ur traffic sources again and again, man. I had some junk pop traffic last month and kept wasting budget until I filtered out the legit ones. Maybe try a fresh source or a different geo?

different angle: have you considered that maybe ur tracking is just off or ur pixels aren't firing right? i've seen legit traffic look terrible cause of that. i've had weeks where i was scratching my head till i fixed a simple pixel issue. ever checked ur tracking setup lately?

I actually think sometimes the data can be super misleading, especially if ur tracking pixels or scripts are off. did u double check ur conversions and pixel firing lately? I had a week where my data looked horrible but it was just a tracking glitch

thx guys, yeah I tried binom but still feels off. maybe I need to clean up my sources like u said. tracking is key but man data still sus.
