PBN in 2025 - still worth it or too risky?

been messing around with PBNs for a bit and honestly I think they still work if you know what you're doing but I also see a lot of chatter about how risky they are now with google cracking down more every year. so is it just a matter of building better networks or are PBNs basically dead weight now? I mean I've seen decent results still but I want to hear from those who've tested recent PBNs and their success rate. if you're still running PBNs, what's your approach to avoid footprints? or do you just skip it altogether and go all in on white hat? trying to get a clear picture here cuz honestly, I don't want to waste my time if it's just a ticking time bomb.

careful with jumping ship too quick I mean yeah white hat's safer but totally not as scalable or fast so if you're gonna keep messing with PBNs just know it's a constant game of hide and seek gotta build 'em smart, keep 'em small, avoid footprint stuff like different hosts, c-class, and no footprints on footprint sites, ymmv but just don't get lazy or Google will catch you eventually.

just my 2 cents: I've been running PBNs last year and yeah, still get decent results if you keep it tight. I use low footprint hosting, mix up domains often and don't build too many links at once. think it's still risky but if you know what you're doing, it's not dead yet, just gotta stay smart.

bruh, i lowkey think PBNs still got juice if u stay smart about it. sure, risks are higher but if u build with legit hosting, mix domains, and don't overdo it, u can dodge some footprints. just gotta be on top of it, not go full blast all the time. lowkey think white hat's safer long term but PBNs still got a spot if u know what u do.

80% of the recent tests I saw say PBNs still work if you keep it legit, but the success rate drops hard if you don't use tools like MoneyRobot or GSA Search Engine Ranker to diversify footprints and automate link diversity.

building a PBN back in 2021 I kept it simple, just a handful of domains hosted on different IPs, no automation tools. smh, it still ranked well for months till I got lazy and tried to scale faster. now I think it's all about quality, not quantity and avoiding footprints even if it

bruh, you mean "cracking down more every year" but it's actually been steadily cracking down over the past couple of years, not just this year. still, PBNs can work if you know how to keep them clean, but don't get complacent rn.

how do you keep the footprints so clean with just a few domains? do you do anything special to hide them more or just rely on basic hosting diversification?

Yep exactly, the crackdown has been ongoing for a while now. Do you think the key is more about the network quality or just constantly updating your footprints?

Spot on. I remember back in 2020 I threw a few PBNs up, just for a quick test, and ended up ranking some crazy keywords. Fast forward to now, I still keep a few alive but only cuz I got burnt out on the whole new link-building grind.

been doing this 5 years, PBNs still kinda work but its riskier than before. i keep mine small and low profile, but one slip and ur screwed. gotta stay careful or its gonna

Different angle: what if the risk is kinda overstated? I mean, sure, a slip can kill a PBN but if u build it smart and keep it low profile, is it really as dangerous as ppl make it seem?

been doing this 3 years, and honestly I dunno if ppl are just paranoid or what but I feel like everyone keeps saying PBNs are doomed or too risky but then they still keep doing it. I mean yeah u gotta be smart but every time someone talks about the risks it's like they forget how many people are still ranking pretty well with em. feels like ppl love to scream "danger" just to scare noobs.

last month i set up a small PBN, kept everything on private domains no footprints, and used different hosting. do u guys think avoiding hosting footprints is enough or should i still worry about other signals?
