outsourcing landing page creation is a nightmare

Alright so I tried outsourcing LP design after my last post about guest posting being a numbers game figured it would free up time to focus on traffic but man this has been way worse hired two guys off some freelancer site gave them my angles and basic structure the first guy delivered something that looked like it was from 2010 with broken mobile formatting the second one just copied a landing page verbatim from a competitor like didn't even change the headline and I'm pretty sure it would get flagged for copyright honestly thought this would be straightforward you give specs you get an LP but its been nothing but back and forth revisions and wasted days looking at this I might just go back to building my own ugly ones in Unbounce again they convert fine anyway anyone actually found a reliable person for this or is everyone just dealing with the same headache

Data don't lie outsourcing LPs is a crapshoot most of the time. You give specs, you get nonsense or copycats, and your time just evaporates. Best way to keep quality is to learn some basics yourself, then outsource small bits once you know what works. Otherwise you end up chasing ghosts and wasting days, SMH.

That's why I say learn a few basics yourself so you can spot the BS and only outsource tiny tasks once you know what works. Otherwise you just keep chasing the same headache. It's all about the angle you run with, not hoping some freelancer magically gets it right

yeah I get it, but honestly I think a lot of ppl wanna outsource thinking too much. like they think just handing over specs is enough but u gotta know what works first. Thanks I was thinking the same, all that time wasted trying to supervise freelancers for them to just copy or deliver crap I could have done myself or at least guided better but honestly I still haven't cracked a reliable way to just outsource and get decent LPs without micromanaging every step
