yo honestly im just tryna figure out media buying but the numbers are making my head spin ppl keep posting about 2x roas like its nothing but i did a 50 buck test on fb last week and only got 1 conversion for like a 12 dollar payout lol spent ages trying to get the pixel setup right is it even worth doing fb or google now or should i just go all in on tiktok? saw someone say they got like a 80 cent cpc on tt but their CR was like 0.5% which seems trash? idk i don't wanna sound dumb but where do u even start without blowing all your money on day one?

Man I get it. I've blown a ton of money on dumb tests in the beginning too. best thing is to start super small, like 5-10 bucks a day max, test different creatives and audiences. don't get caught up in ROAS yet, just gather data and learn. honestly, TikTok is promising but same rules apply, test small, optimize, then scale.

100% agree, but how do you keep from getting frustrated with the slow learning phase when you're just starting out?

careful with just focusing on data, tho. I remember when I first started, I thought I had to chase perfect ROAS right away but was just burnin money lol. sometimes u gotta just run small, watch what sticks, and keep adjustin.

Honestly, I think I just kept telling myself everyone's gotta start somewhere and not to rush the process. Saw some dudes blow loads of cash just chasing instant wins, lol, but I just kept testing tiny and learned from the mess-ups. patience is key, I guess. Peace out!

Careful with thinking TikTok is the magic fix just cause of cheap CPCs. I saw a buddy blow thru a ton of tests on TT and get like 0.1% CR. Sometimes the platform with the lowest CPC just means u gotta spend more to get data, so it's still a money game.

i dunno if I'd call that a total waste just yet. Sometimes platform struggles just mean u gotta tweak targeting or creatives, not ditch it altogether. Have u tried testing different angles or even combining TikTok with FB?

Spot on with the testing patience but I gotta disagree on the platform switch. Imho, if your pixel's not firing right and you only got 1 conversion, dumping more money into FB might be a waste unless you fix that first. Tiktok's CR trash right now for most unless you're

Careful with jumping around platforms without solid data. My tip: stick to one platform, learn it inside out before moving on. If FB pixel's not working right, fix that first or you're just throwing money into the wind

Haha, media buying feels like throwing spaghetti at the wall sometimes. I remember messing around with FB for weeks, got like one sale, thought I was doing it wrong. Took a step back, fixed my pixel, then things actually

I did a 200 buck test last week and got zero conversions, lol. It's just part of the game, fam. You gotta keep testing and learning from the fails.

Been doing this 3 years now and honestly, starting out I just threw spaghetti at the wall and saw what stuck. FB and TT are so different but both got their quirks. On FB, I started with like a 20 dollar daily budget, watched how CPMs hovered around 8-12 bucks, and tweaked audiences till I saw CTRs jump from 0.3 to 1.2 percent. TT's a beast too, but I learned to focus on interest stacking and test like 3-5 ad sets with 5-10 creatives each. Just keep it simple, track metrics, and don't get emotional if you lose a few bucks rn.

ok so yep exactly, starting out is all about testing and learning what works, both platforms got their own vibe and quirks so just gotta dive in and tweak as you go.

Been doing this 5 years and honestly, for newbies I always recommend using AdEspresso. It's a simple way to get a grip on testing without drowning in endless settings. Once you see what sticks

been doing this 3 years and honestly, jumping into FB/TT as a noob is just trial and error. spent a lot of wasted budget on ads that flopped. sure, testing is key but don't think there's some magic starting point, just gotta keep tweaking and hoping for the best.

careful with just diving in blindly tho, fam. yea testing is important but try to get some basic knowledge on audience targeting and ad structure first. saves a lot of wasted budget in the long run.

man careful with that mindset, fam. just because something sticks doesn't mean it's profitable or scalable. sometimes you gotta test a lot more before you find the real winners.

yep exactly, I jumped in thinking I could just throw some money at fb and tt and see what sticks, but man I wasted so much cr before I realized I needed to learn about pixels and audience segmentation first. spent weeks just throwing money at cold traffic with no real plan. now I kinda get it, but damn, the learning curve is steep.

bruh, honestly, just jump in and start testing, but don't expect quick wins. gotta learn the basics first, like pixels, audience targeting, and how to read your data. it's a grind but you learn a lot along the way.
