Just wasted money on a dedicated IP, need to vent

Okay so I saw this 'deal' for a dedicated IP from one of the big providers. Thought it would solve my streaming issues with Netflix and Disney+.nBut here's the kicker - even WITH the dedicated IP, they still flagged me as using a VPN. My whole campaign to test geo-restricted content is dead now.nAnd the speed? Honestly worse than their shared servers sometimes, which makes no sense imho.nSo yeah, warning anyone looking at that 'discount'. Sometimes the use case isn't what you think it is.

lol yeah I highkey seen that too, dedicated IPs don't magically fix vpn detection probs. some providers just still flag or slow down cause they got fingerprinting tech. wasted money on those too, no cap.

Ever notice how dedicated IPs are just another myth for bypassing detection? spent way too much on those thinking they'd fix my probs and nope, still flagged or slow. Kinda feels like throwing money into a black hole

bruh, I feel ya but honestly I think dedicated IPs can help a bit if you do it right, like with rotating proxies or some custom configs. just throwing money at a dedicated IP without tweak is like using a sledgehammer for a watch repair. smh, don't give up just yet.

honestly, I think you meant to say it didn't solve your streaming issues, not that it would. Dedicated IPs rarely fix geo-restriction probs unless you do some serious tweaking.

nYeah bruh, I get it. I wasted money on a dedicated IP too thinking it'd fix stuff but it's just hype. Try using a service like smartproxy, they got rotating IPs that actually work for geo stuff w/o all the flagging. Sometimes you gotta keep testing until you find the right tool, fr.

totally agree, static IPs are sus for geo bypass. Rotating IPs are lowkey the way to go, keeps you under the radar better. You ever try them for streaming or just general geo stuff?

Last month i tried static IPs for a client and honestly it was a mess. They got flagged way faster than I expected. I think in some cases rotating IPs can actually be more stealthy for geo stuff, especially if you keep the rotation random and not too frequent.

Been there, like 70% of the time static IPs just flag faster for me, especially on streaming. Rotating proxies with residential IPs have been way better for geo testing and staying under radar. ymmv but static IP

been doing this 4+ years and honestly, rotating residential proxies with slow, random rotation has been way more reliable for geo testing and avoiding flags. static IPs just scream VPN or proxy to most services now. faster rotation just gets you flagged faster imo.

been doing this 3 years and honestly i see the same thing all the time. static IPs seem to be more obvious and get flagged faster, especially if ur doing anything kinda sneaky. residential rotators are way better for keeping a low profile, but even then, u gotta keep testing and tweaking. no magic solution, just experience and some trial and error.

haha, sounds like you got the classic "dedicated IP doesn't mean magic" situation. maybe static IPs are just too obvious these days, especially with streaming giants cracking down. sometimes rotating residentials are the only way to go for real stealth.
