How I Made a Ghosting Affiliate Manager Speak (Sort Of)

Gonna be real with you ghosting AMs is a pain but I found a trick that sorta works. When they go dark I send a follow up email with a screenshot of the recent CPA spike I got from the offer and a quick line like hey just wanted to check in, I see good numbers and want to keep pushing. Usually I get a reply within 24 hours and they start giving me more info or at least a bit of life. Last week I did it and got a reply from a top AM promising a exclusive offer next week if I keep the numbers up. Cope but it's better than silence and I've closed a couple deals from it sooo far.

sounds risky tbh, chasing ghosting ams can come off pushy. imo better to build real relationships and not just spam follow ups. a screenshot might work once but if they ghost again it might hurt more than help.

Building real relationships takes time, not quick follow-ups. Automation keeps you in the game while you focus on the actual rapport. Automate or stagnate

The data doesn't support that chasing ghosting AMs with follow-ups is sustainable long-term. Building trust and reputation with AMs and affiliates is what really moves the needle. If you rely on quick hits, you end up in a cycle of constant chasing and low-quality relationships.

citation needed. data on that? all i see is anecdotal, and if you ask me facebook rewards consistency and decent creatives more than any secret hack.

lol. data doesn't care about your feelings. if you got a 3x boost from a simple follow-up, that's proof enough it works sometimes

Bro, I get the frustration with ghosting AMs but I gotta call bs on that tactic. Sending a screenshot of a CPA spike? Nah man, that's more likely to make you look desperate or push them further away. You wanna keep a good rep with AMs not just throw some numbers in their face and hope for the best. Trust me, building that trust takes time not some quick patch-up move. Better to stay consistent, have a solid pitch, and let the relationship grow naturally. Rip the quick wins if you want, but I bet you'll burn out faster that way. Also, sending that kinda screenshot without context can come off as pressure, not professionalism.

OH COME ON, you think a screenshot of CPA spike is some kind of secret handshake? That's rookie move. I've literally set money on fire for less, chasing after ghosts with "strategies" that scream desperation. Top AMs? They're not impressed by your screen grabs, they're impressed by your LTV, your consistency, your ability to bring real volume over time

Let me play devil's advocate for a sec maybe the screenshot tactic isn't about impressing the AM but more about reminding them you're still alive and killing it sooo they don't forget you exist I get it it can seem a little pushy but if you do it right it might just keep the ball rolling and get you that exclusive offer or info you're after.

A point of caution on that strategy: sending screenshots of CPA spikes can sometimes come off as a bit pushy or even desperate. Especially if the AMs are already ignoring you, it might just reinforce that you're not worth their time. It can also look like you're trying to flex or game the system, which can hurt your reputation. List hygiene is king here. Building genuine rapport takes time, not just showing stats hoping they'll bite. If you're going to follow up, maybe focus on value instead of just numbers. Keep it clean, professional, and give them a reason to engage without seeming overly eager.

That's rookie move
Summit, I gotta say calling it a rookie move is a little harsh. If your goal is just to look cool and not actually get results, sure. But if you wanna actually get a reply, sometimes you gotta shake the cage a bit. Sending a screenshot of a CPA spike is a quick way to remind them you're active, not just some ghost in the machine. It all comes down to the human connection, and sometimes a little proof can open doors, especially with those top AMs who get tired of the same old DM.

haha, I love the honesty here. sometimes a little persistence is all it takes to get the creep to crack. but really, if you gotta scare them into talking, maybe your approach needs a tweak. honest convo beats spammy tactics every time but low-hanging fruit in this game is knowing when to push and when to back off. most of the time, a little curiosity and good timing can do more than a flood of messages. just gotta find that sweet spot before you turn them into a ghost for real.

Color me skeptical but I gotta call BS on the idea that just talking to an affiliate manager somehow turns them into a chatty Cathy. I mean sure, maybe if you caught them on a good day but most of these guys are ghosting for a reason. If you keep badgering them they just shut down or block you. honesty and respect might work better than being a pest. I swear, most of these managers are too busy to sit around chatting unless you have a real pitch or a solid offer. pretending to be their buddy just screams spammy to me. Show me some real data or it didn't happen.

If you keep badgering them they just shut dow
Exactly, because most of these managers are either busy, fed up with spam, or just plain tired of wasting time on clueless affiliates. Badgering only makes them retreat further, it's like yelling at a cat to get it to come. Patience and a bit of understanding go way further than spamming their inboxes till they block you. Most of what gets replies is genuine interest, not desperation tactics.

been there burnt that. Some of these managers just wanna escape the grind, not have a chat. Patience and no spam usually do more than half-y tricks.

so basically what you're saying is you tried to talk nicely but still got ghosted and somehow that makes it a victory compared to spammy tactics not sure if I buy it but I get the frustration been there with the ghosting game where the more you push the more they vanish it's like spinning wheels garbage in garbage out the real trick is probably just to focus on the few who actually want to talk not waste time chasing shadows

So you think patience is enough to unlock a ghosted manager's door, but what if they really are just too busy or bored of the whole thing? Maybe sometimes the silence is just a polite way of saying go away, not a puzzle waiting to be cracked.
