Holiday CPA offers, which ones actually make you money?

So I decided to mess around with some seasonal offers this holiday season and wow, the results are all over the place. Some networks push really high cpm for Christmas themed stuff but conversions are dead slow. Meanwhile some random niche offers just crush it during Valentine's or Easter. It's like the secret sauce is just random timing and maybe a dash of luck? Honestly, I'm starting to think that trying to plan your whole year around seasonal offers is like betting on a horse with no legs. Anyone else notice certain niches just turn into money machines during specific holidays or is it just ymmv? I swear some networks just slap a holiday banner on whatever they got and call it a day lol.

Do you really think luck is the main driver here? I mean, I saw a case study last month where a niche offer during Halloween had a 300% jump in conversions but the CPM stayed the same. Like, what's the point if the traffic's dead? I lowkey think some niches just hit a sweet spot during certain times and you gotta be quick to cash in. Otherwise, it feels like throwing darts blindfolded.

Disagree, it's not just slapped-on banners, the real game is understanding the audience's seasonal shifts and targeting accordingly. I've seen niches like fitness or home decor blow up during Jan and spring but you gotta know when and where to push. Luck's a tiny part, but data on past seasons and behavior trends are what really makes or breaks your results.

You think luck's just random? I dunno man, sometimes it's about who's got the guts to test and what they catch. Yeah some niches blow during holidays but only if you know when to jump in. You mess around with timing and targeting, and you might just crack the code.

Had a buddy crush it with a niche during Easter, made like 10x his usual monthly in a week. He said he just kept testing and timing his ads to match holiday buzz, no magic. Tbh, I think u gotta be quick to adapt, not just rely on some fixed plan.

Do you mean specific holiday CPA offers or just in general? From my experience, offers around travel, gift cards, or seasonal subscriptions can be decent if you target the right audience. ymmv though, some of those are super competitive and not worth the hassle

haha, holiday CPA offers are kinda like trying to find a gift that everyone actually wants - hit or miss, ya know? Honestly, those travel or gift card offers tend to bring in the rev if you're sharp with targeting, but it's all about the right audience and timing.

Spot on. I remember running a few holiday CPA promos with Voluum's tracking, and seeing which offers actually hit the ROI. Most just tanked without good data

different angle: sometimes the real money is in those less obvious offers like holiday insurance or last-minute service deals, not just the big travel or gift card stuff. those can be sleepers if you crack the targeting.

Careful with chasing only the big name offers, sometimes those small niche CPA deals during holidays can surprise ya. I found that last year when I tested some less obvious stuff like holiday pet care or cleaning services, they actually paid decent. Kinda lowkey but worth testing if ya got the bandwidth.

Spot on, but I'd add that sometimes the biggest ROI comes from testing a mix of those big headline offers and some smaller niche ones. When I focused only on the top sellers, I missed some sleeper hits that ended up performing way better than expected. ymmv but a diversified approach usually pays off better during the holidays.

I remember last Christmas I threw a quick test on some obscure holiday insurance offers and they actually crushed my earnings for a couple days. Did anyone else stumble on something kinda hidden that turned out to be a cash cow?

Yeah, I'd say around 20% of those hidden or niche offers tend to pop off during holidays if you find the right angle. Anyone else hit on smth wild last season that wasn't a big deal at first?

Ever try using Voluum to split test holiday offers? It's a for quickly spotting which angles hit best without wasting time on bad ones.

Careful with that Voluum hype, split testing's only as good as your data and angles. Don't fall for the trap that it's some magic wand, ymmv and a lot depends on offer relevance and targeting

Holiday CPA offers, man, it's like fishing rn, ya never know what's gonna bite till you throw enough bait. Last season I found a weird angle that barely got any attention till it exploded for me. Anyone else get lucky with some sneaky niche?
