Ghosting AMs: How to Deal or Just Ghost Back?

Ghosting AMs: How to Deal or Just Ghost Back?

Man, dealing with affiliate managers who vanish is like trying to catch smoke. Option one is chase hard, keep pinging, remind them you exist, hope they come back with some action. Never works long term, just burns time and nerves. Option two, stop chasing, pivot, look for new networks, new contacts, build your own flow. Ghosting shows they not serious or just overwhelmed, but what kills me is the endless cycle of wasting time on the same ghosting games. No real answers, just frustration and more questions. How do you handle this black hole? Do you stick and hope or just move on and hope the next one doesn't vanish?

Chasing is a waste of time, period. If they vanish, they are not worth your juice. Building your own flow, finding reliable contacts, and not relying on flaky AMs is how you actually grow.

Honestly I think chasing is sometimes necessary especially when you're just starting out and trying to build relationships and trust with AMs because ignoring them completely is a mistake most people make and then they complain about ghosting but the reality is you gotta remember most AMs are busy and overwhelmed so a little persistence can go a long way if done smart and not just spamming but at the same time if you see no movement after a few good attempts you should pivot because wasting weeks chasing a ghost is pointless but I still believe that building some rapport and showing you're serious can help avoid ghosting altogether if you do it right because in this industry everyone just wants to see you're consistent and committed not just throwing offers at them and hoping they respond

man, i gotta say i lean more toward ghosting back sometimes just to see if they bite or if it was just dead air. but honestly, most of these AMs are just playing the game, especially the flaky ones. i found building your own flow is the only way to stay sane, but yeah, it takes time and patience. chasing like a puppy just burns you out and no real gains. source: i broke it myself, tried to chase and got nowhere. now i just focus on diversifying LPs and networks so when one ghost, no big deal. still, some AMs are just dead weight and better to cut loose early than keep banging your head.

In my experience chasing rarely changes anything. Ghosting is a sign they not serious or overwhelmed, moving on is the only waaay to stop wasting time. Building your own flow and reliable contacts is what actually pays off long term

You're not wrong about the ghosting. But what I see often is people chasing way too hard instead of building their own flow. If they vanish, they prob not worth the time, especially if you got other options. It's about working smarter, not harder. Data is king but intuition based on experience is the queen that makes the real moves.

honestly i think chasing sometimes gives you the illusion of control but in reality it just eats up your time and energy. ghosting back? maybe it's a quick way to test if they're worth your effort but it's not a strategy, just a gamble. the big picture is building your own flow, setting up reliable sources you don't have to chase or wonder about. if an am vanishes, that's a signal to move on not chase harder. smarter play is to diversify and not put all your eggs in one flaky basket. the cycle of chasing and ghosting is just noise, focus on what's solid. keep stacking and don't let the ghost game drain your patience.

No real answers, just frustration and more questio
no real answers, just frustration and more questions. Sounds like a typical day in this game. But here's a thought - how much of that frustration is just a mirror of your own expectations? Maybe instead of asking for answers, you should ask yourself what hypothesis you're testing and if these ghosting games are actually part of the process or just noise. Because if you're just chasing the ghost, you might be missing the point that campaign data is worthless without a solid hypothesis to test. Are you really trying to solve the problem or just avoid it?

lol okay, but if you know, you know most of these ghosting issues come from your own flow not being tight enough. i dropped a few bad networks last week after their reps vanished for a week straight, then suddenly reappeared when i hit 'em with a break-up email. if you want long term, you gotta focus on building your own list and not chase every single AM like a lost puppy. native ads are king for nutra, search is dead for most offers, so why waste time chasing ghosting AMs when you can just shift your traffic to a new lp or creative and

Ghosting AMs: How to Deal or Just Ghost Back
Been there. I just ghost back if they don't reply, saves the headache. If I want to keep it cool, I'll hit them once more and if no reply, move on. No point chasing, just focus on your own stuff.

smh, ghosting is a slippery slope, my dude. you do that enough and you'll start to burn bridges you might need later. if they ghost, rip your budget, but at least leave a door open. sometimes a quick follow-up to check in isn't a bad idea, just to see if they're still alive. nobody likes being ghosted, but also nobody wants to chase forever. remember, if you're not split-testing creatives daily, you're just guessing. keep it chill and professional, or you might come off as petty. and trust me, your ad account will thank you.

sometimes a quick follow-up to check in isn't
lol, yeah, a quick follow-up is kinda based if done right. but the data doesn't care about your feelings, so if they ghost again, just move on. chasing ain't worth the ROI, especially if it's a dead end. sometimes the door needs to stay closed to keep the pipeline clean.

ghosting is part of the game, but leaving a door open is smarter if you want long term. Chasing fades EPC and wastes LP, just move on to the next. Burn bridges over ghosting and you'll limit future deals. Keep it cold, stay in control.

ghosting is part of the game, but leaving a door open is smarter if you want long term
But is leaving the door open really worth it if the AM is just gonna ghost again? Seems like you're just giving them more ammo to ignore you later. Better to burn that bridge quick and focus on other more promising prospects. Saves time, saves headache, and keeps your ROI looking better.

but what if ghosting AMs is just a symptom of bad offers or LPs? you think chasing them solves the real problem or just wastes time chasing shadows? trust the data not your gut on this
