Ghosted by AMs, results looking like a memory

Man, I swear, it's like stepping back in time when I used to run this stuff. I'd send a weekly update, get some feedback, maybe a new tip, but now? Nothing. Just dead silence. It's nostalgic but also kinda infuriating. Had some great AMs who'd actually reply even if it was just a quick 'thanks, we'll review,' now it's just radio silence. Makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong, or maybe those days of good communication are gone. My last campaign's numbers were decent, about 15k in leads, decent CTRs, good flow, then poof, gone. No more updates, no insights. Just ghosted. Is this how it's supposed to be now? I miss the old days when managers actually cared about your results. Now I sit here trying to chase down info, rerun my trackers, double check stats, and nothing. Just feels like I'm talking to a wall. Anyone else in the same boat? Or am I missing some secret handshake? Would love to hear if anyone's cracked the code on getting some real responses from these guys again.

Been there, tested that. Most AMs just want quick wins and aren't really invested anymore. Communication is a joke now, probably cuz most of these guys are just pocketing their affiliate bonuses and not really interested in your long term results.

Honestly I think it's not just AMs, it's the whole industry sliding down the drain fast these days and everyone is just looking out for their own ROI, not yours anymore. Been in this game long enough to see the boom and bust cycles and the last few years? they've been dead zones for communication, people just ghosting like you said, probably because they know most of us are just burnouts chasing scraps. I get the frustration, I really do, but honestly expecting some old school loyalty or genuine help is almost cute now. Most of these guys are just trying to keep their heads above water, siphoning off the easy wins while the rest of us scramble to cobble together what's left of our campaigns. If you're relying on them for your juice, you're already playing yourself. The only secret handshake I know is that you gotta build your own damn system and stop waiting around for handouts from these ghosts

smh industry's just a giant feeding frenzy now, no loyalty, no real support. everyone's just chasing their cut, no one cares if your campaign tanks. same old story, different day.

Look I get the nostalgia and the frustration but honestly I think a lot of people are just projecting their own lack of discipline onto the industry itself, I mean sure communication can be flaky but if you're relying on AMs to hold your hand and keep you in the loop you might be missing the bigger picture here which is that this game is about taking control not waiting around for someone to babysit your traffic or tell you what's working, the industry hasn't suddenly turned into a ghost town of support it's just that most of us have become too dependent on having someone spoon feed us instead of actually analyzing the numbers ourselves, I mean if you're doing your job properly your tracker should be your best friend not some side note that gets ignored, you wanna find the real magic? learn how to crack the data and keep pushing regardless of whether your AM responds or not, the market rewards those who are proactive not those who whine about silent treatment, just remember anyone giving advice without posting a screenshot of their stats is just guessing and wasting everyone's time.

You're claiming it used to be better with the weekly updates and feedback but honestly I think that's a bit of a rose-colored glasses view. Back in the day, maybe, but a lot of those old school AMs were just more responsive because the industry was smaller, less competitive, and they cared more about their relationships. Now? It's a different beast. Everyone's chasing quick wins, burnout, and pocketing bonuses. The industry's just shifted, and I don't think the communication was ever really that solid across the board. It's not about nostalgia, it's about recognizing that this game is more transactional now. If you want real support, you gotta build your own network, not rely on some random AM to hold your hand.

Man, honestly I think most of u guys are just too dependent on AMs. Been there, burned that budget waiting for replies. The real secret is to crack ur own data, build ur LPs, test, optimize, repeat. Most pre-built LPs are trash, u build ur own will almost always outperform. If ur relying on AMs to hold ur hand, u already lost.

Disagree... you think relying on AMs is the problem? no, it's your lack of backbone. those AMs are not your babysitters, they're gatekeepers. if you're waiting for them to spoon feed you every insight then you're toast. the industry has changed but the solution is not to cry about ghosted emails, its to crack your own data, learn your funnel inside out, and stop waiting for handouts. you build your empire by grinding your own numbers, not begging for crumbs from the AMs. if you think AMs are your secret weapon, you're missing the point. nobody cares if they reply or not, the winners adapt, test, and keep pushing no matter what. stop blaming them for your own laziness.

Let me stop you right there. I don't think it's just industry slide or AMs being lazy. It's the nature of the beast now, people chasing quick wins and ghosting when it gets hard. You can't rely on them anymore, gotta build your own systems and keep control. Relying on their communication is a recipe for disaster.

Been there with ghosting - but honestly it's on us to follow the data and not rely on AMs to hold our hand. Results dip, we tweak, test new traffic sources. AMs come and go but if your data says the offer still has legs, keep pushing. Remember first-party data is overhyped for direct response - rely on actual numbers, not hype. Ghosting can be a blessing in disguise - forces you to learn faster.

exactly, it's all about the data, not the ams. ghosting happens, part of the game. when the results dip, i switch up the cloaks, change the proxies, optimize the lp again. sometimes you gotta be your own am, know what i mean? if you rely too much on them, you get burned.

YEAH, I gotta agree with Dividend here. AMs are like weather vanes - they point in a direction but they dont control the storm. If you're putting all your eggs in their basket, you're just waiting for the next gust to blow your results away. It's on us to watch the data, know when to pivot, and keep testing different angles. AMs come and go, but your campaign's health should be the real focus. Burned once, learned twice. The real ROI comes from staying nimble and not counting on someone else to hold your hand through every dip

Yeah, ghosting can be a pain but it's just part of the game. Results aren't static, they fluctuate, and if you rely too much on AMs to hold your hand you're kinda asking for trouble. The real skill is reading your data, knowing when to pivot, and not being surprised when they disappear for a bit. If you've built a solid traffic and testing framework, a ghosting moment just means you get to play doctor and fix your own health. AMs come and go, but a good operator keeps the engine running regardless. It's funny how many folks forget that in the end, your own analysis is the only thing that really matters

Ghosting is just part of the dance, man. It's like playing poker and the dealer suddenly goes quiet. The real skill is knowing when to fold and when to push harder based on your data not some AM's silence.

Yeah, ghosting is the worst but honestly it's kinda inevitable sometimes, if you're relying on them too much you're just waiting for that silence to kill your momentum, best to have multiple irons in the fire and keep testing your own stuff while waiting for the rain to pass.

fascinating. Ghosting is just another layer of the chaos. AMs are basically a black box - you get some feedback then they vanish and meanwhile your creatives die on the vine. I swear CPMs are rigged just to keep us guessing, so relying on AMs to hold your hand is like asking a blind man for directions. Best bet is to keep testing, watch your CTR and CVR like a hawk, and not get emotionally attached to what some agent promises.

i gotta disagree a bit, relying on data is but sometimes you gotta know when to cut your losses even if the AM is ghosting. in my experience, the best campaigns are those where you don't put all your eggs in one basket and you're constantly testing your own LPs and creatives. waiting for the AM to give feedback often wastes time. ghosting happens, but don't let it kill your momentum, work around it. cloaking is a necessary evil in this game and sometimes you gotta keep pushing even

Ghosted by AMs, results looking like a memory
Been there, burned that ad budget. Ghosting by AMs is like hitting a brick wall after a nice run. The thing is, if you're putting all your eggs in that one basket, you're just asking for heartbreak. Best to diversify, keep testing your own angles and creatives while waiting for the AMs to come back if they ever do. Relying on them too much is a fast track to burnout and frustration. Sometimes you gotta read the tea leaves and cut losses before the whole campaign goes south. That's just the grind in this game.
