datacenter proxies getting flagged more than ever? recent test

ran a scrape test last week with cheap DC proxies ($1/gb from that popular vendor) vs basic residential (like $10/gb). dc got blocked after 2.5k requests avg, residential made it to 17k before captcha hell. epc diff was brutal - dc: $0.03 conv, resi: $0.12. so the 'cheap but detectable' thing feels extreme now (google especially). anyone else seeing DC success rates drop like this recently? kinda sus.

different angle: I've had better luck with some rotating proxies from Microleaves, they seem to last longer and stay under radar better, even with cheap options. maybe try switching up providers or using a service that offers real-time proxy rotation? just my

Careful with cheap proxies in general, especially DC ones. I've seen tons of cases where they just don't cut it anymore, and microleaves or similar rotate services tend to be more stable, even if they cost a bit more. gotta find that sweet spot where they last long enough without gettin flagged.

Honestly, if DC proxies are acting like a cheap date at the club, I'd look into something like Oxylabs or Bright Data. They cost more but at least you're not getting ghosted after 2.5k requests. The cheap ones are just sus now, like trying to get in with a fake ID.

spot on bruh, I learned that the hard waaay too. had a batch of cheap DCs that lasted like a day tops before total ghost mode. sometimes ya just gotta pay more or rotate smarter

like 3-4x more expensive proxies can cut the ghosting in half but u gotta really watch your rotation, maybe even set up some kind of proxy pool that rotates IPs more often or from different providers so u don't get flagged by pattern.

just my 2 cents: that $0.03 cpa for DC proxies is almost a red flag, shows how fragile cheap proxies are right now. data shows that cheap proxies get flagged quicker, and epc drops 60-75% once you hit block walls. smh, quality proxies might be the only way to stay afloat long term.

different angle: maybe the low cpa just means the data quality is trash, so even if they last longer, the leads ain't worth much. sometimes ya gotta spend more to get legit results, not just cheap high-volume garbage

last month i ran a test with $5/gb residentials and got almost 50k requests before captchas kicked in, so i think the key is more about how u rotate and mask the traffic rather than just throwing more money at proxies. like, if u just swap IPs every 2 min vs every 10 min, it makes a huge difference. but i also

Honestly, datacenter proxies are a sinking ship right now. If you want something that actually works without getting flagged constantly, go check out oxylabs or geoSurf. They got legit residentials and rotating proxies that stay under the radar.

just my 2 cents: feels like datacenter proxies are just getting worse, smh. idk if any of the legit providers really work anymore without getting flagged. maybe im wrong tho, prob just bad luck or smth

Last month i tested 50 datacenter proxies and nearly 70% got flagged within the first hour, even with rotating IPs. Are u guys seeing similar numbers? Seems like even legit providers can't keep the flag rate under 20% anymore.

over 80% of my datacenter proxies got flagged last week in under 2 hours even with rotating IPs. feels like the legit providers are losing the battle too tbh. anyone else seeing this kind of trend or just bad luck lol

thanks for the input guys, yeah im seeing the same trend. gotta move more towards residentials if u wanna stay safe. oxylabs and geoSurf are decent but pricy. probably best to test a few and see what works for u.
