been using some cheap datacenter proxies for quick scraping and tbh they're fast but sites keep flagging me - yeah, that's common. from what i've seen, these budget proxies often have a high bounce rate, like 30-40% get flagged within the first hour. checker tools only see if they're legit IPs but don't measure how many are already blacklisted or flagged by sites. speed might be good but if 1 in 3 gets flagged, it's not really cost effective long term.

I gotta disagree a bit, cheap proxies can be legit sometimes but the detection rate is usually higher. like, a lot of these low-cost ones get flagged quick especially if they're on a shared IP pool or have bad reputation scores. even if checkers say they're clean, sites can still spot patterns or fingerprint them easily. ymmv but unless you're rotating constantly

different angle: I was using some cheap datacenter proxies too and thought they were fine until I noticed my ctr plummeted and captcha started popping up more. turns out, even if checker tools say they're legit, sites can still detect patterns like speed or IP sharing. had to switch to semi-dedicated ones and stuff got way

Different angle: I think the detection isn't just about proxies being cheap or legit. even legit proxies can get flagged if you scrape too aggressively or trigger rate limits. it's not always about the proxies but your overall scraping behavior.

disagree a bit, I've seen legit proxies get flagged quick if they're on busy pools or if the host has bad reputation. also, some sites use behavioral detection so even legit IPs get caught if you scrape like an idiot. so, it's not just about cheap vs legit, but how you use them. speed and volume matter just as much.

highkey agree, legit proxies aren't invincible, especially if they're on bad pools or used aggressively. some sites also got behavioral checks, so even legit IPs can get flagged if you push too hard lol

been doing this 14 years, and legit proxies still get flagged if u push too hard or on busy pools, tbh. i swear by oxylabs or brightdata now, their residentials are way better for avoiding blocks, even with aggressive scraping. cheap proxies just aren't built for high volume, always get burned.

yeah, cheap proxies on busy pools or with bad reputation get flagged fast, even if checker tools say legit. site behavior detection is a pain too, legit IPs can get caught if u push too hard.

Yup exactly, checker tools only tell part of the story, they can't predict how sites will react to heavy scraping or behavioral patterns. Do you notice if your proxies are from the same pool or provider? Sometimes switching up pools or adding delays helps avoid the flags.

That checker tool thing is kinda misleading, lol. Sites don't just flag legit IPs based on checks, they watch patterns. My tip - use a mix of proxies and rotate them often, even if they look legit.

Been doing this for about 3 years now and I kinda disagree on the whole cheap datacenter proxies being super detectable. Yeah, some get flagged easily but there are providers who have pretty good rotators and IP pools that stay under the radar if you use them right. It's not a one-size-fits-all deal, you gotta pick your provider smart and don't run the same proxies for weeks straight

Are you saying rotation is the key? I lowkey agree, switching up proxies keeps you under the radar, especially with cheap datacenter ones.

If you want them to fly under the radar, rotate constantly and pick legit providers that have good IP pools, da. Cheap proxies ain't impossible to hide if you know what you're doing.

Different angle: not just rotation, also about legit IP pools and provider reputation. Cheap proxies can be less detectable if you mix in real residentials sometimes and keep your traffic patterns normal. Don't overthink just cheap proxies, it's about how you use them.

Been using proxymesh for a couple years, cheapish but yeah you gotta rotate like crazy and keep an eye on IP reputation. It's not foolproof but works if you mix in legit proxies sometimes.

Yup exactly, I tried some cheap datacenter proxies once and got banned super quick even with rotation. Had a buddy say he got away with em longer, but maybe he was just lucky or had a niche use
