honestly i think the black vs white hat thing is kinda overrated, tbh. Sometimes what's labeled 'black hat' is just a clever tweak on legit tactics, not some shady stuff. If it works and doesn't get you banned, who cares what label you slap on it lol.

Careful with black hat, I did it once too, thought I'd get quick results. Ended up getting my site sandboxed for a few weeks, never again. Short term wins ain't worth the penalty risk, imo.
