Oof, this takes me back. Been messing around with these three giants trying to find some solid residential proxies for scraping and anti-detection stuff. Everyone's always hyping BrightData but when I actually ran tests, their uptime was solid but their IP pool seems kinda overhyped. Got about 95 percent success rate on targeted sites but their latency shot up 30ms compared to Smartproxy which held steady around 150ms average. Smartproxy was cheaper too but I've seen some people complain about IP rotation being inconsistent. Oxylabs, on the other hand, I thought would crush it but their pricing is brutal, and I only saw about 92 percent success, with a 25ms lower latency than BrightData. The real kicker? BrightData's premium plan had an EPC of 2.3 cents on a product scrape, Smartproxy was right behind at 2.1 cents, but Oxylabs was lagging at 2.6. So, in terms of raw numbers, BrightData seems king for uptime and success, but the price makes me skeptical. Smartproxy's more affordable but with some quirks, and Oxylabs feels like a high-end option I gotta pay for. Honestly, it's almost like the hype is a bit inflated do any of you guys have real world experience? Or is this just marketing noise? Math doesn't lie, but sometimes the numbers don't tell the full story either.
