BrightData vs Smartproxy vs Oxylabs - which one actually works?

Just did a test run with all 3 yesterday and got some crazy results. BrightData gave me a 98% success rate for scraping google without bans after 10k requests, while Smartproxy hit around 85% and Oxylabs was at 92%. Speed was also noticeable - BrightData was averaging 1.2 sec per request, Smartproxy 2.5 sec, Oxylabs about 1.4 sec. Cost-wise BrightData is way more expensive but seems worth it for the success rate. I also tested anti-detection features and BrightData's residential proxies handled fingerprinting better, no captchas at all. Anyone else done similar tests? Want real feedback before I dump more money on the wrong one.

Hmm, I'd take that with a grain of salt. No captcha at all sounds a bit too good to be true. Ymmv but often that's just hype to justify the price tag

tbh last month I tested a few proxies myself and saw similar success rates but then got hit with captchas like crazy after a couple of days. My tip - always run some real-world throttle tests, not just initial success numbers, or you might

Careful with those success rates fam, especially for Google. Even if it's working now, those bans can hit hard later if you're not constantly testing and rotating. Nothing's foolproof long-term.

crazy results huh? but how stable are those success rates after a week or two? honestly, I'd try a combo of BrightData with a solid rotator like Scrapebox or SerpWorx just to keep it fresh and reduce ban risk.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly, those success rates are nice but long term stability is key. Don't forget to mix proxies, rotate often, and use some CAPTCHAs solvers or anti-detect tools. Relying on one provider for everything is a fast lane to bans lol

Been doing this 3 years and honestly I agree success rates are just part of the picture. Long-term stability and avoiding bans needs constant rotation and blending proxies. Ymmv but relying only on top-tier is risky.

Different angle: success rates are cool but don't forget about the overall ROI, including downtime, maintenance, and long-term ban risks. Picking a proxy service just based on one test can be misleading.

Last month i messed around with a few proxies and learned quick that uptime and ease of maintenance matter just as much as success rates, especially if u wanna keep scraping long term.

Bruh, all three are kinda solid but depends on what u need. BrightData's got the most options and scale but can be pricier. Smartproxy's cheaper and decent for small scale stuff. Oxylabs, they got the tech but again, cost is higher. Pick based on budget and the target sites.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly I've bounced between them. Once I used BrightData for a big project and it was fast but got hit with limits quick, Smartproxy held up pretty well for smaller gigs but Oxylabs, they seem to handle heavy loads but at a cost. Which one did you end up trying first?

haha, choosing proxy providers is like picking flavors at an ice cream shop. I've used BrightData for big client projects and yeah, the speed and options are crazy but it can get pricey quick. Smartproxy's been my go-to for quick smaller tasks, keeps it cheap and easy. Oxylabs? They're solid but I find them a little clunkier sometimes, ymmv.

Last month I was running a quick scraping job and went with Smartproxy again cause I was trying to keep costs down since it was just a small project. Used about 50k requests in 3 days and honestly held up pretty decent, only a couple of caps but nothing crazy. ymmv but for smaller stuff, it still does the job fine.

just my 2 cents, if you're looking for something that can handle heavy loads without breaking the bank, BrightData (formerly Luminati) is usually solid for large scale scraping. smh Smartproxy is cheaper but sometimes they hit caps faster. Oxylabs is a beast but pricey. ymmv but I'd pick BrightData if uptime and data quality matter most

different angle: think about your use case first. like, if you need really niche residential IPs, Oxylabs might give you less headach. but if you wanna scale quick, BrightData can be more reliable.

been doing this for like 3 years now and honestly, I've had totally different experiences with these providers. I tried BrightData for a while and it was solid for big projects but kinda expensive for small scale. Smartproxy? I found their IP pool prettyyy reliable and cheaper but sometimes a bit slower during peak hours. Oxylabs I used a couple of times, mainly for niche residentials, and they've been consistent but not necessarily better across the board. It's all about what you actually need - I don't think there's one size fits all.
