BHM vs WHM my 90-day test numbers - which path actually paid?

Alright spent the last quarter running two parallel campaigns. One on a proper white hat email list I built, one using scraped contacts and full black hat redirects. Not gonna name networks or tools cause you can guess.
White Hat: sent daily emails to 12k opt-in subs promoting an app install CPA offer. Paid $1.8 per install. Consistent traffic from fb ads and organic signups to my lead magnet. After 90 days total rev $11,342. Net profit after costs (fb ads, LP tools) around $6,900.
Black Hat: Used scraped data from some forums for another CPA offer payout was $2 per lead. Sent emails thru rotating smtp servers and cloaked links that redirected from fake pdf downloads to offer page. Numbers were insane for first 30 days, made like $15k fast. Then got flagged hard by the network, they clawed back everything from day 25 onward citing fraudulent leads - so actual payout received was only $4,500 from the early period before they noticed.
Fwiw the stress is real with BHM man i was checking my phone every hour for payment notifications it fried my brain lol
The math says WHM paid more in net but took longer to build up maybe its a patience game now idk just sharing conv rates we all love numbers right? But chasing big fast checks with BH is always a gamble networks are getting smarter at detection.
Keep stacking slowly

just my 2 cents, that sounds more like a mix of white hat and gray hat tactics, not straight white hat. organic signups from a lead magnet usually means legit growth, but combining that with fb ads and not mentioning how you target

Honestly, that line kinda made me chuckle lol. Sounds like u already know exactly what kinda gray or black tactics ur using, so why pretend otherwise? U gotta know the risks if u're playing that game. Just my 2 cents but I'd stick with the legit route unless u wanna get flagged hard

honestly i think u already answered ur own question with the numbers. white hat might be slower but it's legit and scalable. black hat can blow up fast but always risks getting burned hard.

different angle: yeah but scraping data from forums might be borderline gray rather than black, depends how you did it and if you're legit avoiding some obvious traps, but still risky

Honestly, I think the black hat route can hit big quick but you gotta know when to cut and run or it'll bite back hard lol, the slower but steady white hat game might be boring but it's the one that pays the bills long term.

Yeah but sometimes you gotta ask if the quick cash is worth losing everything, or if playing it safe and steady actually pays off in the long run.

Been doing this 3 years and I seen plenty of guys crash and burn chasing quick hits but honestly sometimes the risk is worth it if you got the skills to bounce back lol, steady ain't always the answer if you're looking for fast wins.

bruh, this kinda stuff always cracks me up. depends on how ya count "paid" tho, right? if it's just cash in the pocket, sometimes BHM hits differently but WHM can be more consistent long term. gotta look at the whole picture, not just the 90 days.

just my 2 cents, it depends on what you mean by paid, right? if it's pure ROI, WHM might look better long term, but BHM can bring quicker cash sometimes. better to track both and see which actually moves your needle.

Careful with assuming BHM or WHM is better based on 90-day test numbers. my experience is different, sometimes BHM hits faster but WHM pays better long term. gotta track actuals over time not just short-term results.

just my 2 cents, for tracking I always suggest using a tool like Voluum or RedTrack, they give ya real data and can help ya see which path really moves the needle instead of just guesswork. ymmv tho, but good tracking is key to making smart decisions long term.

Are you tracking conversions at the offer level or just overall? Focus on granular data from your tracking tool to really see which path actually pays better instead of just looking at top-line numbers.

ngl thanks for the input guys, reaaally helps to see different angles. Yeah, I'm mainly looking at ROI over a longer stretch, not just quick wins. Gotta keep tabs on both and keep testing, no way around that. Stay sharp out there!
