Just ran some tests and man the data is crazy. Tried this big residential proxy provider that swears they're great for ad verification. Did 50 checks and only 15 went through no problem. The rest got flagged or blocked or showed wrong stuff. I checked the IPs they gave me and 60% were already tagged by ad networks for shady stuff or abuse. For real I saw one IP used for three different accounts in an hour lol. Speeds were awful too like barely 10 Mbps which totally wrecks your flow if you're scraping or verifying quickly. Don't buy the hype do your own testing tbh. Got burned last month with another provider and this one is just as bad. Data doesn't lie be careful out there.
 
Just my 2 cents but data like that doesn't surprise me anymore. When a proxy provider cant even get a decent hit rate or speeds and their IPs are flagged that heavily, it's a clear sign to stay away. Numbers like 60% flagged IPs and 10 Mbps speeds tell you all you need to know about their quality.
 
Last month I tried a different residential proxy and got pretty decent results, but I wonder if it's just luck? Could it be that some providers have better IP pools but still face issues with flagged IPs sometimes?
 
most folks forget to check the actual IP pools, not just what the provider claims. ask for real-time IP lists and test those directly before trusting their hype. shady IPs wreck speed and data quality, no matter what they say.

Careful with these proxies, some might seem fine but cause random drops or false positives when u test em under real conditions, learned that the hard way.

Most ppl don't realize that about 70% of proxies tested in ad verification fail at some point or give false data, especially with newer anti-fraud measures. You wanna check reliability over a week, not just quick tests, before trusting them for a big campaign. Don't get caught thinking they're all the same, even if they seem cheap or fast.
 
Haha, proxies that look good in theory but tank in actual ad tests? sounds like my ex's promises. I tried a few and honestly, most just cause more headaches than they're worth. Always gotta do ur own tests, don't buy into the hype.
 
disagree, I used a few from that provider and they worked fine for me, but I always run a quick test before serious stuff. don't just trust reviews, do ur own trial runs too. reliability is king in this game.
