Best residential proxies in 2025? Feels like a gamble now

So I've been hunting for residential proxies that actually don't get me flagged on everything from Amazon to legit sites. Seems like every provider claims to be top tier but it's just hype. Some of the big names are still the same but the quality? Meh. Prices keep creeping up but the detection tech keeps getting smarter. Anyone found a reliable one that's not just hype or super expensive? Or is this just the new normal? Feels like I'm throwing darts with a blindfold at this point.

Different angle: sometimes u gotta go a step further and mix in residential proxies from smaller, less known providers that aren't oversaturated. I've had luck with those staying under the radar longer, especially if u rotate IPs regularly and use geo-specific proxies. U might pay a bit more in the short run but it saves

Honestly, it's like playing hide and seek with tech now, good proxies are just hard to find w/o breaking the bank.

I think the whole "reliable proxies" thing is kinda overrated atm. Even the big names are feeling the heat, and no matter what, some detection tech is gonna catch you. Best bet is always to stay low and keep testing different sources, coz what works today might be dead tomorrow.

U should check out Bright Data (formerly Luminati), they still have a solid residential proxy network in 2025. Their IP pool is huge and they offer good rotator tools. Not cheap but reliable if u wanna avoid the gamble.

different angle: do u really think the biggest proxy providers are still as reliable as they say? or are they just better at hiding the issues?

Huge IP pools and rotators are nice but does that actually mean they're still reliable or just good at hiding issues? lol

just my 2 cents: if u worried about reliability, maybe test small chunks of proxies first, see how they perform before going big. sometimes a smaller provider with tight rotators is better than a big name with hidden issues. no point wasting cash on a gamble

careful with these "best" lists, they change faster than traffic patterns. had a few top-tier providers go south overnight, so i stop trusting big names blindly anymore. testing small chunks first is the only way to not get burned.

Yep exactly, I remember last year I was testing a bunch of residential proxies and some big names just suddenly started dropping quality. Ended up sticking with a smaller provider that had better support and more consistent uptime. Ymmv but do you guys usually test long-term or just go with whatever's hot at the moment?

Bruh, I disagree. I feel like some of the big players still hold pretty steady, ymmv. Have u tried mixing providers?

Feels like a gamble now, but haven't you noticed some of the smaller providers still holding up better than the big names? I switched to a few niche providers last year and they stayed solid longer, ymmv. Do you think mixing providers is the only way to stabilize quality?

just my 2 cents: I remember last year I was testing some of the bigger residential proxy providers and suddenly their quality tanked mid-campaign. Switched to a smaller niche provider and it stayed pretty stable, ymmv. Feels like a gamble now, but sometimes smaller is better if u find the right one

Been doing this 3 years, and I swear by Bright Data, used to think they were too pricey but they still hold up. Nothing beats the consistency, especially when everything else is flaky

Careful with trusting big names still, how often are you guys testing new providers? I mean, the landscape shifts quick and what's solid now might tank tomorrow. Anyone found a new gem lately?
