Best residential proxies 2025: my analysis

ok so been looking into residential proxies for 2025, went thru a bunch of data and reviews. thing is the top providers are still super different on price vs quality. some are pricey but give you stable fast IPs, others cheap but get blacklisted easy. i noticed most high-end ones now really push anti-detection stuff which makes sense tbh. if ur trying to stay lowkey for scraping or automation go with ones that have a good rep for lasting and fresh ips imo. just my two cents but def test a few before u buy a ton, especially next year since detection is getting smarter

Last month i tried some high-end proxies that claimed to have all the anti-detection stuff and honestly, they still got flagged after a couple of days. so while that stuff might help, i think it's not a magic bullet, ymmv. gotta keep testing and mixing proxies to stay ahead.

Last month i tested some pricey proxies with all the anti-detect gear and still got flagged quick. do you think that new detection tech is just too advanced now or are there tricks to beat it?

i kinda disagree on the anti-detect stuff being enough. I'd say the key is rotating IPs fast and using residentials from multiple providers to stay under the radar. makes a difference.

ok so ngl, I think the biggest mistake is trusting reviews blindly. I've seen cheap proxies hold up longer than premium ones if you rotate right. quality ain't everything, especially with detection tech evolving fast. ok so been looking into residential proxies for 2025, went thru a bunch of data and reviews ngl, reviews can be misleading. some cheap proxies surprised me with better stability than pricey ones if you rotate

Honestly I think the real game now is about blending proxies into a broader footprint, not just relying on the best IPs. if you keep rotating and diversify sources, detection gets kinda trickier.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly, I think people sometimes put too much stock in the fancy anti-detection tech. If you ask me, the real secret sauce is in how you use the proxies, not just what they come with. rotating IPs fast is good but if you're not managing your footprint and mixing sources, detection can still catch you. Sometimes the cheaper, more "random" proxies work better long-term than the high-end ones that focus only on tech bells and whistles. ymmv though.

thanks for the input guys, yeah i think even the best anti-detect tech ain't a silver bullet anymore. rotating fast and using legit residentials from different providers seems smart. atm, im just testing a few providers myself, see which ones hold up longer. bruh, detection is getting way smarter, so gotta stay flexible.

Kinda 80% of what you said is just assumptions, tho. I've seen way too many times how markets shift quick and static lists become useless. Gotta stay flexible, bro.

yo different angle: have you considered that sometimes the proxies with the biggest claims aren't always the most reliable? I've seen some "top" lists go out of date quick or sell out fast, leaving you stuck. Ever run into that?

last month i saw a list claiming to be "best proxies" but half of 'em were already trash or overpriced. stuff changes quick, gotta stay on top.

spot on but honestly i swear by oxyproxy.io for residential proxies. they update their list constantly and have real IPs, so you're less likely to get blocked or have dead proxies. ymmv but fr, staying on top is key and a good provider helps a lot.

"Best residential proxies 2025: my analysis" - honestly, I've had a totally different experience. some of the top names out there give me dead proxies or get flagged way too quick. imo, it's all about testing a few and seeing what sticks, not just blindly trusting the biggest claims.

Different angle: I've had decent luck with some smaller providers that fly under the radar, not the big names everyone talks about. sometimes less popular means less crowded and fewer bans, lol. so don't always sleep on the lesser known guys.

Different angle: sometimes the smaller providers actually give better uptime because they're not overrun like the big boys. a tip, try rotating your proxies faster and see if that helps with bans, esp if you're hitting the same sites. do you also test for the same proxies over a long time or switch it up?

u ever try residential proxies from smaller providers? I found some that give me way better uptime and less bans than the big names. sometimes the low-key ones are the real hidden gems.

U sure ur analysis includes the latest small providers? They often fly under radar but can be hit or miss rn. check if u tested enough to really know.

Been doing this 3 years and I swear sometimes those small providers surprise me with better stability, but you gotta test enough cause they can be flaky too.

70% of ppl still prefer residential proxies for scraping, so do u think the new providers can really compete with the established ones or is it still a game of proven track record?
