Amazon Associates still worth it or just dead weight?

Amazon Associates still worth it or just dead weight?

So I've been messing around with Amazon Associates for a while now and honestly I'm kinda confused. Like, I see some people bragging about earning decent commissions, but then I look at my numbers and it's kinda meh. I pulled in maybe 3 sales last month, total commission was like 12 bucks. Yeah, twelve. I mean, I know the payout rates are low but I thought with enough volume I could at least scrape together a few bucks. But nah, the commissions feel sus low and the cookie duration is what? 24 hours? That's practically nothing nowadays. And their affiliate program kinda feels like a dying platform tbh. It's been years and I don't see any real growth or new stuff coming out. Just the same old, same old. Anyone here actually making legit cash with Amazon Associates right now? Or is it just a sinking ship and I should switch gears? I wanna know if I'm missing something or if it's just not worth the hassle anymore

yep exactly. Do you use any tricks to boost conversions like deep linking or focusing on high-ticket items?

different angle: maybe it's not just about tricks but more about content quality and niche targeting. like, u gotta be in a niche ppl actually buy in and give em legit reasons to click ur links. deep linking can help, but if ur content sucks or ur audience isn't hot for what ur promoting, it's always gonna be meh

, niche is everything. If ur in a dead market or generic tech stuff, conversions will stay meh. Focus on a niche with buyers and give them real value or solutions, then links start clicking better.

haha, sounds about right. I did Amazon for a bit and yeah, kinda dead end unless you get lucky or pick a hot niche. i saw some folks making a few bucks but not enough to retire. switching gears might be smart if you're not seeing real results.

last month I pulled in about 20 bucks with Amazon Associates and that's pretty much normal rn. I think it's more about your niche and audience than the program itself. If you're not in a hot market or giving real solutions, yeah, the low commissions and short cookie really kill your vibe. I'd suggest looking into higher paying programs if you wanna make legit cash, Amazon just ain't the goldmine anymore unless you get super lucky or have massive traffic.

Last month I made like 15 bucks from Amazon too, feels sus low but honestly it's just a grind. maybe ur not in the right niche or audience but also, u gotta be real with urself it's a slow burn now. switching stuff up could be smart if u wanna make real cash quick.

spot on but you said 24 hours cookie duration. its actually 7 days now bruh. still not great but better than 24. maybe worth a rethink?

that's actually a good point but in my experience, the cookie duration is now 7 days, not 24 hours like you said (checked Amazon docs rn). even so, the commissions are still low for most niches and the low payout + slow growth make it kinda meh unless you have insane volume. just my 2 cents

nah, switching up isn't gonna suddenly make amazon commissions more worth it. honestly, the whole thing feels like a slow grind no matter what. if u want quick cash, better look elsewhere fr.
