Amazon Associates 2025 - anyone actually making decent money?

so i found this kinda weird niche last month and started putting up some comparison posts. didn't expect much but my dashboard shows like 487 bucks in commissions for march so far and its only the 12th. mostly from tools and some electronics. idk if its a fluke or what. been hearing forever that amazon is dead cuz the rates are trash. and yeah they are, like 3% for most stuff. but the cookie lasts 24 hours and people just buy random stuff after clicking your link. the huge amount of stuff on there seems to sometimes make up for the low %, idk. anyone else seeing this or am i just lucky before it all crashes? where the hell do you even start if you're a beginner - i feel like the old review site thing is so saturated now

487 in commissions so far and it's only the 12th? sounds kinda like a fluke or maybe ur just lucky with the niche. don't get too hyped, amazon's rates are trash but if u got a high EPC and good conversion, it can add up fast. just remember, most people don't make steady income from amazon long term, so don't bet the farm on it

idk if its a fluke or what, but 487 in comms by the 12th? that's kinda wild for march. might be some weird luck or maybe a really hot niche. don't get too hyped tho, amazon's rates are trash and it's tough to scale long term. gotta keep testing new stuff, esp if review sites feel saturated.

487 already? damn, u must be sitting on a gold mine or just caught a crazy wave. been doing this years and usually march is dead slow for me.

bruh, yeah march usually slow for me too, kinda surprised you got that much so early. I remember one time I started with a random niche and outta nowhere, I got a spike for like a week. guess sometimes luck or timing just hits different.

you sure bout that? I've seen similar results but I think a lot of times it's just luck or a hot niche spike, not steady cash. ymmv.

yo, you sure that 487 is legit or just a lucky spike? ive seen some weird jumps too but always worried it's not sustainable. wanna see if it keeps up or crashes hard next month. where'd you even start if you're new and wanna build on this?

Thanks for the quick replies. Yeah I know amazon rates are trash but I guess the niche I picked just has high enough volume and good EPC to make up for it. I'm definitely not getting cocky yet but it's kinda crazy to see that number mid-month. Will see if it keeps up or if it's just some weird fluke. As for starting out, I'd say focus on less saturated niches, maybe tools or specialty electronics, and really build out content that gets clicks

just my 2 cents, making decent money with amazon associates these days is kinda rare unless u got a huge scale or insane niches, most folks struggle to get steady cpms.

bruh, I've been doing amazon aff for like 10 years and honestly, unless u got some crazy niche or scale, making decent rev is a grind. had months where I barely broke even. ymmv but steady cpms are rare nowadays.

Disagree a bit, I think steady cpms are kinda still there if u focus on the right niches and quality content. Sure, it's not as easy as it used to be but if u find good angles, u can still pull decent revs consistently.

Haha, still alive and kicking in 2025, huh? imo, making decent money with amazon aff is still possible but ya gotta grind hard and find those right niches. It's not a walk in the park anymore but some folks still pull it off.

Honestly, I think the real key is building a solid email list and not just relying on quick hits from SEO. When u got those emails, u can push deals even when organic traffic dips. That's where the real money is fr.

tbh 80% of the game is picking the right niche and staying consistent. a tip - diversify your traffic sources, not just relying on SEO or amazon's algorithms. sometimes other channels like social or email can keep things steady when one dips

Damn, still alive? smh I thought amazon aff was dead by now but guess some ppl still grindin.

Bruh, do yall think amazon will still be worth it in 2025 or just dead content? smh maybe I should pivot soon if it's really still paying good.

different angle: maybe some ppl just know how to grind and find the right sub-niches, not just the main amazon stuff. revs still out there if u know where to look. u gotta ask if the juice is really worth the squeeze tho
