AM ghosting - got one back after shifting to their competitor, crazy right

Alright so update on that AM who was radio silent for like two weeks after promising an exclusive CPI offer remember I posted about how they vanished while I was scaling a push campaign thing is I literally just switched the campaign to their direct competitor using the same vertical and landing page angle surprise surprise he hits me up on Skype yesterday evening asking why my spend stopped genius move obviously my ad budget went somewhere else thats my point been there tested that now hes sending new offers with better terms but still think these guys only respond when they see cash moving maybe just always have a backup network ready to switch spends gets them talking fast

You're right, these guys only ping when they see the cash flow stop. Always gotta have a backup ready to switch on a dime, keeps the pressure on and makes them sweat. Ghosting and then popping back when you switch is classic move, not even surprised anymore. Keeps the game interesting when you got options, less chance of them ignoring you completely.

I get the hustle but imo this feels like chasing shadows. Ghosting happens all the time but switching to a competitor and then expecting better offers? U gotta question if they're truly responsive or just reactive when ur spending pattern shifts.

lol, ambush, you're overthinking it. these guys are just sharks sniffing blood. they only come back when they smell the money. no point sweating the "if they're responsive or reactive" thing. that's just how these game works. gotta keep them on their toes. if you can flip to a competitor and get better offers, you're already winning. the key is always having a backup network ready to go before they even start ghosting. keeps the pressure high, makes them chase you instead of the other way around. trust me, the ones who sit still and wait for responses get left behind. in the end, it's just another layer of the game. play smart or get played.

Honestly I think this whole ghosting thing is overblown. Yeah they disappear for a bit but its often just the game they play to keep you on your toes. Switching to their competitor is a smart move but I wouldnt expect better offers from them just because you changed the spend. Its more about how you spin the story to their reps to get the best cut. The real secret is mastering that conversation, not just flipping networks and waiting for them to come back. If you only respond when they do its a reactive game, better to keep a steady flow of offers and always stay a step ahead. I might be wrong but in my experience the guys who keep them chasing are the ones crushing it long term

Keeps the game interesting when you got optio
What if the reason they come back with better offers isnt just about cash flow but about testing your loyalty? Maybe ghosting is a way for them to see if youll run to the next network at the first sign of trouble or if youre serious about the long game. Are you really keeping them on their toes or just waiting for the next switch to happen?

Show me the data. Ghosting happens in this biz. Switching networks to trigger a response is smart. But better test their responsiveness without risking too much cash. Always have a backup, yes. But don't assume better terms will come just because you moved. Maybe they come back because they want to keep the money flowing, not because they value loyalty. Keep your eyes on your numbers.

Bolt, I get the shark analogy but if they only come back when they smell the money, why do they bother with the offers and better terms now? sounds like they want to keep you hooked just enough to bleed you dry. show me the numbers tho, maybe they're just testing your response.

man, that's the kind of luck that makes you wonder if they're just playing hard to get or if they actually need the competition to wake up. been there, burned that. hope you got a better deal now

ha, yeah seen this movie before. they ghost you, then come crawling back when they realize the grass isn't greener. just another day in the serps jungle. hope you got some now.

Ok hear me out I think this is more about the game of patience and smart tracking than some crazy anomaly like ghosting being reversed, cause if you got one back after shifting to their competitor it means you either baited or kept a close eye on the signals and stayed in the game long enough for them to come back around which is a solid play but not everyone can pull that off without bleeding some budget first so I'd say it's more about your approach and tracking setup than some luck miracle.

Honestly I think it's just luck or maybe they panicked when they saw u leave but it doesn't mean they actually wanted u back. sometimes clients just testing the waters or waiting for the right moment to ghost again. not buying into the whole comeback story unless u got some real proof they serious. just my 2 cents.

yeah, i get it, ghosting is just part of the game until it isn't. shifting to their competitor probably just made them realize they were losing their grip, so they come back with a whimper instead of a bang. i've seen it happen plenty, just part of the serps mind games. if you got it back, gotta be careful not to let that foot print get bigger or they'll ghost again faster than you can say tf/cf. in my book, links are a liability if you don't control them.

cope harder, all this ghosting and comeback stuff is just part of the game. if you're not in control of the narrative you're just LARPing. focus on your offer, not their mood swings.

Haha, cope harder? I love how Nomad's out here trying to act like he's controlling the universe but can't even keep his own outreach in check. If you're waiting for clients to stop ghosting or come back like it's some magic trick, RIP your inbox. Control the narrative? Bro, I'd settle for controlling my own click rate first.

so here's the thing. ghosting is just part of the dance. you shift to their comp and suddenly they remember you exist.

Haha, classic. Ghosting is just the pregame before they realize they got played. shifting to their competitor is like shouting "hey look at me" from the sidelines, then surprise, they come crawling back. data doesn't lie, but people sure love to play hard to get. if you're not stacking your offers and automating the follow-up, you're just AF chasing shadows. in the end, it's all about the pipeline. make it clean, make it automated, and let the data do the talking.
