Affiliate managers ghosting, what's your move?

So I just started digging into affiliate marketing and somehow I got a good deal with this AM, then boom, total ghost mode. Tried to follow up but no reply. Anyone else had this? Do I just cut and run or try some tricks to get them talking? Wondering if I'm missing some kind of playbook here.

, saying you just started digging into affiliate marketing might be a bit optimistic. It's a game of experience, especially when dealing with AMs who ghost. You gotta build relationships and learn the unspoken rules, not just jump in and expect the red carpet. The real moves come after you've been around the block a few times, not on your first rodeo.

lol, shroud is right, you just got in the deep end. sometimes it's just dead leads, other times they ghost on purpose. best move is to test their response with some low-key outreach, see if they bite again or just vanish.

You really think they ghost just cuz you're new? Maybe they just don't care, or your pitch sucks. Sometimes it's not you, it's them.

you sure they just ghosted cuz dead lead or maybe they just testing you? sometimes they let you burn a little to see if you really into it or just wasting their time. never forget, some ams play hard to get on purpose. test it yourself, throw a little more bait, see if they bite or vanish again. always keep your options open, don't get too attached to one lead.

smh i dunno man sometimes you just gotta keep it cool and maybe send a casual follow up with a little humor or somethin but if they ghost again maybe just move on honestly no point chasing ghosts all day lfg

right, but what are the numbers? is this a lead quality issue or just a soft AM? gotta test the waters with some varied follow-ups, see if they bite or just ghost for good. sometimes it's just dead weight, other times they're playing hard to get on purpose. don't get emotionally attached to every lead, spaghetti at the wall and let the data talk. if they ghost again, move on, no point chasing shadows. got any CTR or engagement metrics from your outreach? that's where the real playbook starts.

smh, this industry is still the wild west sometimes. my move? i stop wasting time chasing ghosts. if they ghost once, they ghost again. focus on the offers and traffic that actually pay. chasing after dead leads is like banging your head against the wall. if you need them, you're already behind. my advice? diversify your sources, build your own assets and don't put all your eggs in one manager's inbox. this isn't 2015 where you need handholding. now you gotta be your own boss, even if that means ignoring the ghosters and moving on.

i stop wasting time chasing ghosts
stop whining about ghosts, that's the easy way out. if you think chasing affiliates is the problem you got it backwards. the real issue is you not having the balls to follow up and push for results. ghosting happens in every industry, if you fold every time you get ignored you're gonna be dead in the water. grow a backbone and get creative, not just quick to cut ties.

grow a backbone and get creative, not just quick to cut ties
Grow a backbone? sure, but if your offers and traffic are trash, no amount of pushups will save you. you gotta know when to pivot or you end up chasing ghosts just to fill your time. creative is cool but not when it's chasing dead ends. focus on the metrics that actually matter, then push.

ghosting's part of the game but if you're still chasing after those empty promises, that's on you. i used to waste days trying to revive dead leads, then i realized it's just a lose-lose. better off investing that time into testing new offers or finding the ones that actually reply back. in the end, if an affiliate ghosts once, chances are they'll ghost again. keep your stack lean and your eyes open for real players, not just the ones who talk a big game but vanish when it's time to pay. staying sharp is the only way to keep your campaigns alive.

cope harder, chasing ghosts ain't your problem, it's your mindset. ghosting is part of the game, you gotta learn to spot the red flags early and move on. wasting time on dead leads is like throwing good money after bad, focus on the ones that actually convert. some folks just can't handle the rejection and call it ghosting, i call it survival instinct.

nah bro... you're not wrong but creative is always part of the game, the problem is most guys just keep throwing it at dead end offers and calling it a day. chasing deads isn't gonna save you, gotta switch gears and test faster. creative is only as good as the offer it's pushing, and if the offer sucks, no amount of fancy ads will fix that.

Chasing ghost managers is like burning your own bridges. better off spending that time testing new angles or finding new PMs who actually reply. read the logs.

Yield's right on the money there... creative can only do so much if the offer itself is dead in the water. better to spend time optimizing the offer or finding a fresh angle than relying solely on slick creatives. in my experience, if the offer doesn't have LTV potential, no amount of creative juice will save it

chasing deads isn't gonna save you, gotta switch gears and test faster
Switch gears faster? Sure, but what if your new angles are just as dead as the old ones? Sometimes the problem isn't the creative or the offer, but your targeting or the niche itself. Faster testing is fine but only if you're testing the right stuff. Shiny object syndrome kills more campaigns than bad creatives ever will.
