Free guest post outreach I tested, actually works?

Tried submitting guest posts to niche blogs without paying. Got 10+ backlinks in 3 weeks. Out of those, 4 are DA 50+, traffic from guest content was measurable. Still small sample but numbers look promising. Anyone else try similar free outreach and got results? Curious about conversion rates and niche limits.

Been down that road and it's always a gamble, never sustainable long term. Backlinks from free outreach are like breadcrumbs, easy to collect but hard to trust. You need to focus on building real relationships and content that actually earns links, not just spam submissions.

Yeah I get where Gaze is coming from but I think it's not all black and white those free outreach links can be a real boost if you do it right and not just spray and pray like some spammer you gotta build relationships and focus on quality content that earns those links naturally it's not rocket surgery and yes the trust factor is tricky but with a good mix of outreach and real content it's a solid play just don't rely on it alone and keep your other link-building healthy.

Did you consider how sustainable those backlinks are if you keep doing it the same way or is it just a one time boost, because often free outreach works but depends on your ability to keep up and build real relationships not just quick wins

Hard disagree on free outreach being a legit long-term strategy. If it was so easy, everyone would be crushing it and there'd be no need for paid links. Those backlinks are just 'breadcrumbs' you get lucky with, not a real foundation.

Bread crumbs? More like potato chips.

Easy to snack on but not a real meal. How many of those backlinks are actually worth a damn long term? Or just quick wins that fade?

Been there, burned that. Free outreach can give a small bump but it's not a long-term plan, just quick wins if you get lucky. If you wanna scale and sustain, pay for real outreach, build legit relationships, and focus on quality LPs. Otherwise your backlinks are just potato chips - crisp but gone quick

Honestly I think you're both missing the point if you think free outreach is a long-term strategy you're just playing a numbers game and hoping for a few lucky hits that stick but that garbage data and those backlinks are just noise in the long run you wanna scale and get ROI you gotta invest in building real relationships and quality LPs otherwise you're just chasing quick wins and wasting your time chasing breadcrumbs and potato chips won't get you anywhere that's just noise and a waste of effort if you ask me

So ur saying even if those free backlinks give a tiny bump now, they can't be part of a real SEO meal? U sure about that? Sounds like ur still serving up the same tired long-term myth. Sometimes small quick wins stack up over time if u know how to cook with em. But nah, ur all about the 'long-term' buffet that never actually gets served. Ur whole stance sounds cooked to me.

yeah, sure. Free outreach might bump the serps a little but don't kid yourself it's a sustainable strategy. Those backlinks are prob short lived or just noise, rekt in the next update. Anyway, back to my crypto hole.

not to be that guy, but a tiny bump is still a bump. If those backlinks are from relevant niche blogs and not spam farms, they can add up. Sure, they might not be the core of your SEO strategy but dismissing small wins completely is a quick way to burn your budget fast

let me share a real story. i tried that too, a while ago. got some backlinks, sure. but the thing is, those are just cheap hits, not real value. traffic from guest posts is a different game.

Gaze is overly cautious. Sure, free backlinks aren't forever but a steady stream of quality outreach can build a solid base. It's about doing it smart, not all or nothing. Don't be afraid to test and learn. This game is about scale and consistency.
