Ever been scammed by an AM offering 'exclusive' deals?

Quick question. Has anyone here been burnt by an AM claiming they could get you exclusive offers but turned out to be a scam or just bad deals? Curious because I keep hearing about these supposed 'private' offers that are too good to be true. Would love to learn how to spot the red flags before wasting time or losing money.

Most of those private deals are just hype, never trust too good to be true. Focus on proven offers and good traffic sources instead of chasing after 'exclusive' stuff

Yeah, Vanguard hit the nail on the head. Chasing those shiny exclusives can waste a lot of time and money if you're not careful. I probably messed this up, but I try to stick to offers with proven LTV and good data on the traffic I got. Creatives and LP are usually more reliable than promises of secret deals that sound too good to be true.

yeah, been burned a few times, those private offers are often just smoke and mirrors. look for the ones with good CTR and low refund rates, if it sounds too good to be true it prob is. remember, google's always watching, and page speed is tiny compared to topical authority and user intent

I get where empathy is coming from but I think sometimes those private offers are just a matter of not doing your due diligence. I've had legit private deals that paid out well, but you gotta be super careful. Always ask for proof of payout history, talk to other guys who ran it, and check if the traffic source is legit. Most of the time it's just about the hype and not the actual offer quality. Just don't buy into the hype blindly - I learned that the hard way back in the day when I chased after shiny stuff that looked too good to be true.

smh, honestly I think Empathy is missing the bigger picture. CTR and refund rates are just surface level. those private offers that seem legit usually have some dark corners you gotta dig into. seen too many guys chase good CTRs and end up with a rekt payout because they didn't verify payout proof or check the traffic source. the real scam is how they make it look legit on the surface but the backend is pure nonsense. dont just trust a payout screenshot or a quick chat with the AM. do your own digging, ask for raw data, look at the traffic angles, and most of all, test small before going all in. those private deals are basically bait, you gotta be smarter than that.

Let me stop you right there. Chasing privacy and exclusivity can sometimes be a trap but not always. The problem is, too many new guys get sucked in because they think an "exclusive" deal equals safety or higher payout. Reality is, if you can't verify the source, the payout proof, or get some kind of independent confirmation, you're just gambling. CTRs and refund rates are useful but only after you vet the deal thoroughly. Never assume a private offer is legit just because it's "private" or "exclusive." Sometimes those are just bait to lure in the naive. Do your due diligence, ask for payout histories, test the offer with small traffic first, and always keep a close eye on your tracking data. If it looks fishy, walk away.

here's the cold hard truth. Most of those private deals are just a fancy way to separate newbies from their cash. If it sounds too good, it probably is.

Been there, got burned by one claiming 'exclusive' deals, turned out to be a dead end. Always verify payout history and ask for proof before jumping in. SaaS solves a problem but not every deal is worth the risk

Been there done that with those private offers, most are just shiny bait to get you to drop cash or chase a pipe dream, I get it some might work but in the end the risk to reward ratio usually favors the scam side unless you really know what to look for and can verify payout history and track record, otherwise you might as well

lol. because if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. the data doesn't care about your feelings, if it's private and exclusive it should be verified not just believed.

Vanguard is right about not trusting too good to be true, but sometimes those "private" deals are just a way to filter out the riffraff. Not all of them are scams, just need to do your homework and dig into the offer stats before jumping in. Red flags are easy if you know what to look for, but don't dismiss every shiny new deal as a scam.
