so i keep seeing people rave about certain networks or managers, right? like they're some kind of goldmine. but then you actually try to reach out, ask for support or just to get your payouts sorted and it's like talking to a wall. silence, ghosted, nada. no updates, no feedback, just radio silence. it's always the same pattern. either they blow you off quick or disappear after you bring in some decent volume. i'm not buying the whole 'busy season' excuse anymore. this ain't a one-off, it's a common scam or just bad management. especially with the smaller networks, seems like they promise the moon but deliver nothing. why is everyone acting surprised when they get ghosted? if you aren't getting transparent communication from your affiliate manager, you're basically gambling with your earnings. i've seen too many say they got burned, lost payments, or just left hanging. be careful out there, don't fall for the hype of these so-called 'premium' managers or networks. do your due diligence, and never rely on one point of contact. if they're ghosting you now, what makes you think they won't do it when the payout time comes?

That's classic shiny object syndrome. Everyone gets hyped up over the next shiny network or manager like it's some kind of pot of gold. But most of these folks forget that behind every so-called goldmine are just people trying to keep the lights on. The hype rarely matches the reality, especially when the real work begins and the communication drops faster than a leprechaun's pot of gold. It's like falling for the hype of a hot SKU when you should be thinking about LTV and CAC instead.

Goldmine? More like a mirage in the desert. People rave about networks because they wanna believe in fairy tales not because they found a fountain of success.

Ghosting is the norm now because most of these networks are just traffic farms, not real businesses. If they can't handle basic communication before paying, what makes you think they'll come through when it's time to settle? garbage in garbage out

lol u think they care about communication when they already rekt u on payouts? u think ghosting is the problem or just part of the game? u get burned enough, u stop trusting any of these clowns

like they're some kind of goldmine
Haha, yeah. Like some kind of shiny treasure chest waiting to be unlocked. but most of the time it's just a cardboard box with a label. Everyone chasing that quick fix, that moonshot. in reality, it's just another job, another game of cat and mouse. the real gold is in consistent effort, not promises. but hey, hope springs eternal, right? if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

GHOSTING ISN'T NORMAL, IT'S A SIGN OF WEAK MANAGEMENT. 86% of networks that ghost after pulling volume are the ones who are either not serious or about to fold. If your AM or network can't handle basic communication when you're pumping good volume, why trust they'll pay out?

Ghosting is just part of the game in this space, people cope with it or get burned. Anyone who tells you different is either naive or lying. The reality is most networks and AMs only care about the volume, not the relationship. if you're serious about your earnings, never rely on just one contact and always keep your backend email game tight. Email marketing is still king for backend profits, so don't put all your eggs in one ghostly basket.

so i decided to hit up a few of these ghosting networks again with some follow-up emails, thinking maybe they just missed my messages. surprise surprise, still no response. at this point, i'm convinced most of these managers are just ghosting cos they know you're gonna burn out or get tired and leave, then they move on to the next guy. pretty predictable.

let me share a real story about this. sometimes I think it's less about the managers ghosting and more about their inboxes being flooded. maybe it's not ghosting but overload that's causing the silence

do you really think they're ghosting or just playing the inbox game? maybe some of these guys just forget how to reply after a while or got buried under LPs. citation needed.

I call BS on the inbox overload theory. If they're serious about the offer, they hit you back. Ghosting is a choice, not some inbox catastrophe. If they don't reply after a couple of polite nudges, it's probably cuz they're not feeling the offer or they got better options. No amount of email flooding makes ghosting acceptable. Work smarter not harder with follow ups, not crying about floods.

Honestly I think ghosting is just part of the game. sometimes you get the manager who disappears and then the one who actually responds. it's all about how you follow up and keep the momentum. if they really want the deal they come back. if not, move on to the next.

Haha, seriously? I think u just gotta accept that ghosting is pretty much part of the game now. But honestly, sometimes I wonder if some of these managers are even real people or just bots that get reset eveeery few days. If they really wanted the deal, they'd reply. I dunno, maybe I'm just too old school but ghosting feels like a cop out. Sometimes I think the whole "it's not personal" line is just them avoiding accountability. Anyway, if they don't reply after a couple of nudges, I just move on. No point wasting time waiting for someone who clearly isn't interested.

I gotta disagree here. Ghosting is pretty much part of the game, yeah, but sometimes I think some of these managers just ain't that serious. Not every silent treatment is about the offer, sometimes they just don't wanna deal with more spam.

Cool story, needs data. How many actual responses u get after the ghosting? If its just silence, not really a sign of seriousness.

Ghosting does seem to be part of the landscape now, but follow the money trail here... if the offers aren't converting or the LTV is slipping because of poor support or unclear metrics, ghosting is just the cheap out. It's the kind of behavior that tells me they're not that serious about retention or building a real pipeline. But yeah, sometimes I wonder if these managers even know what engagement looks like, or if they're just ticking boxes while the churn keeps climbing. It's all about the front-end numbers but often forgets about the back-end health of the campaign

been there, burned that budget chasing ghosted deals. sometimes i think these managers just got a pile of spam, and when they see another pitch they peace out. lmk if you got some stats on response rates after the ghost, my experience is most just vanish and move on. just part of the game i guess
