so, backconnect proxies. remember when you could just get a cheap datacenter ip and call it a day for scraping? now it's all rotating residential pools with fancy names. my last campaign for local lead gen got torched because the geo-targeting was off by like 300 miles. total waste. i need something that actually rotates ips cleanly without leaving footprints all over the place. tired of these providers whose 'reviews' are just repackaged marketing fluff. anyone using a backconnect setup that doesn't feel like you're routing thru a potato farm in 2012? lmao.

Interesting. Walk me through your thinking. I get the nostalgia for simple datacenter ips but the landscape changed. residential pools with rotation, better geo targeting, less footprints. the tradeoff is usually quality versus cost.

Backconnects are just a fancy word for a proxy switcher. Yeah, they rotate IPs but often leave footprints and can get flagged. If you want clean geo, just get legit residential proxies from a reputable provider.

backconnect proxies? Yeah, they sound sexy on paper but in reality most are just a pain. You get what you pay for and cheap pools are often just dirty IPs or worse, flagged by big platforms fast. If you want something that actually works without leaving footprints, you gotta pay up for legit residential proxies from trusted providers. Anything else is just gambling with your campaign's LTV and ROI.

RIP to those days. people act like datacenter IPs are still king but come on, everyone knows they got trashed for scraping hard like 3 years ago. got burned so many times with those and the big G caught on quick. if you're serious, you gotta move beyond that cheap crap. residential proxies, even the middle tier, are way better for staying under the radar. datacenter IPs are basically spam magnets now. if you think you can just scrape with cheap datacenter IPs and not get whacked, you're dreaming. my two cents, but what do I know, just been through the war.

okay but here's the thing: everyone talks about "clean" proxies like it's some mystical unicorn but no one really proves their claims. i mean, show me data that says residential proxies from xyz provider don't get flagged in a week. smh. and as for backconnects, yeah they have their issues but when done right with a quality provider, they can be surprisingly stable. i think a lot of people get emotional because they've been burned once or twice and then write off the entire thing. but honestly, the biggest mistake is thinking that there's a one-size-fits-all solution. geo targeting off by 300 miles? that sounds like a failure of either the setup or the provider not doing their job. if you want precision, get a provider that actually cares about geo accuracy. don't blame the tech if your provider is lazy or your setup is sloppy. the real trick is testing and validation, not just switching providers every time something fails. anyone who just accepts that proxies are "dirty" or "footprinty" without verifying is just throwing money away.

man honestly you can rotate ips all you want but if you not using fresh clean ips from legit residential pools you just chasing shadows, even the best proxies leave footprints if they get flagged or reused enough times, sometimes it's better to mix in some PBNs and be sneaky than rely solely on proxies that might look legit but

got burned so many times with those and the big G caught on quick

LOL, I get u but honestly, it's not all just fancy names, it's about the quality behind those names. like u said, most are just rotating pools with a shiny label. the key is finding real legit residential pools that actually work without leaving footprints, not just flashy branding. u gotta ask providers for proof or data, or u end up chasing shadows like everyone else. I feel like folks jump on the latest "hot" thing without digging deep enough. sometimes the old school datacenter IPs are more predictable than these fancy pools. it's a mess, but no silver bullet, just gotta test and be cautious.

ah yeah those days were simple, right? just grab a cheap datacenter ip, blast away, and hope for the best. but man, those days are long gone. G caught onto that pretty quick and started clamping down hard. now it's all about legit residential pools, rotating fast, clean, and hard to trace. the game's shifted, and if you want real results without burning your campaign, you gotta move with the times. the old ways just don't cut it anymore, especially with geo-targeting off by miles like you said. it all comes down to staying ahead of the detection curve and using the right proxies that actually mimic real user behavior. simple is dead, my friend.

yeah man, the game totally changed and honestly using legit residential pools with real volume is the only way to keep it under the radar now, but even then, footprint management is key, that's why you gotta use a solid dedicated platform that handles rotation smartly, not just some generic resellers and hoping for the best. trust me, if you're trying to do it right, manual proxies are just not the move anymore, gotta have a good system that tracks and avoids reuse as much as possible

yo you saying all these fancy named pools are just rotating residential pools with a new coat of paint but bro the numbers don't lie if you buy legit residential proxies from a proven provider with real volume and clean footprints you can run campaigns for weeks without getting flagged and it costs you less than chasing shadows with these shady "fancy" pools that get flagged after 2 days and then you're back to square one throwing money at new providers or worse risking getting your whole account banned the difference is clear when you actually do the math and look at the ROAS on legit pools versus cheap re-sell junk that smells like a potato farm the real game is quality not some shiny label and if you ain't willing to pay for real residentials you're just throwing money down the drain

yo g, no shade but are we sure that footprint management is the only thing that matters? I mean, maybe it's just me but I think if you got good rotation and legit IPs but your pre-lander is garbage or your creative is weak, it's still gonna tank. footprint is important, yeah, but I swear some folks focus too much on the tech and forget about the stuff that actually makes conversions. like, if you got a solid system but your offer is dead or your landing page looks scammy, that footprint ain't saving you. maybe it's just my experience but I feel like everyone gets tunnel vision on proxies and forgets that the whole funnel gotta be tight from the inside out. so, is footprint really the king or just part of the puzzle?

yeah, exactly. i'll believe it when i see the csv showing no footprints. those cheap pools are just a gamble and honestly, you're better off investing in legit residential pools if you wanna keep your geo tight. all these rebranded proxy services are just spinning the same tired wheel.
