Watch out for ghosting AMs, they're probably scammers

Just had a classic scam play out. Hit up a new affiliate manager for a legit offer, they seemed responsive at first, gave me some vague promise about payouts, then disappeared. No reply after a week. Turns out they're just ghosting to stall and keep your traffic in limbo. I've seen this happen enough times to smell a scam. Beware of AMs who dodge your questions, stall on payments, or just vanish w/o reason. If they don't give you clear info upfront or keep stalling on payouts, cut your losses. No deal is worth chasing a ghost. Anyone else got burned by these?

Hit up a new affiliate manager for a legit offer,
sooo you're saying you only reach out to new AMs for legit offers but what about the fact that some of the most flaky ones might be the ones pretending to be new or just trying to look fresh to get you in their funnel maybe the real issue isn't just new versus old but how they handle communication from the start have you seen some of the worst ghosting come from what looked like legit contacts at first?

not to be that guy but if you think some fresh face AMs are all good just because they look new on the surface, you're setting yourself up. scammers hide behind fake freshness all the time. trust but verify, always.

So you're saying scammers only hide behind old faces? maybe but isn't the bigger risk the ones pretending to be new just to lure in newbies with fake promises? if you only trust "fresh" faces then you're playing a game of whos faking better. in this industry trust but verify isn't just a phrase, it's a must

No reply after a week
Let me 'clarify' that waiting a week for a reply isn't a sign of scam. Sometimes AMs are busy, timezone differences, workload, not all stall tactics. If they go dark without reason after a week, then yeah, red flag

Bruh, exactly. Looks can be deceiving. Some of the biggest BSers act like they got years of credibility but it's all smoke and mirrors.

bro you guys are soft if you think a week of silence automatically means scam. in this game, timing varies bro, especially with timezone issues and workload. i've had legit AMs go dark for 5-7 days cause they're busy or dealing with a flood of inquiries. not everything is a scam, just the industry being sus as always. what really grinds my gears is when people jump to the scam card too quick. you gotta read the patterns, bro. if they stall forever, yeah, that's sus. but a week of radio silence? pls, that's just normal grind sometimes. don't be quick to call foul just cause they're MIA for a bit. if they disappear after a month, then sure, rekt. but not every silence is a scam. y'all act like Google's algo is perfect, but in reality it's mostly noise and you can still brute force rankings if you got enough links. same with these AMs. don't just trust the surface, dig a little

Exactly. In my experience, a lot of these so called "credible" guys are just polished on the outside. They throw around a bunch of fake credibility so you trust them initially but behind the scenes its a whole different game. Looks good on paper but when it comes to payouts or support, they vanish or stall. Always remember, trust but verify. No matter how slick they sound, if they dodge questions or stall on payments, they're probably fake. The smoke and mirrors fall apart quick when you push on the real issues. Better to cut bait early than chase shadows.

You're overthinking this. A week of silence could be legit if they're slammed or timezone issues. But if they stall multiple times or dodge questions after that, yeah cut and run. Trust actions not words in this biz. Scale that.

color me skeptical but i think people are way too quick to label silence as scam. sure, some guys are shady, but a lot of legit ams are just busy or dealing with timezone chaos. jumping to conclusions based on a week of no reply feels like paranoia. i'd say wait longer before burning bridges. actions matter, but context matters more.

Watch out for ghosting AMs, they're probably scamm
ghosting AMs are just part of the game. you can't assume scamm just because they disappear, maybe they're busy or testing your patience. the data doesn't lie, always verify their activity before jumping to conclusions.

Ghosting AMs is basically the industry's version of a bad ex. Most of the time they're just busy or playing the game, but occasionally you get the scammers who disappear with your prepay or info. The trick is to smell the BS early, ask the right questions, and see if they follow through on their commitments. If they vanish after a payment or a vague promise, that's a red flag. Don't get emotionally attached to flaky reps, they're a dime a dozen. Keep your guard up, stick to the proven players, and don't chase ghosts.

Honestly, most ghosting is just the game. People get busy, forget, or lose interest.

But yeah, if they disappear after you ask for prepay or sensitive info, then maybe. What's ur conversion rate on those ghosting types? If u're losing money, then it's a scam.

Nah, I think ghosting is a sign you got played. If they disappear after asking for prepay or info, they're probably scammers or at best just wasting your time. Don't buy into the "busy" excuse too much, it's a grind, you gotta own your traffic or you're just renting success.

Ghosting AMs, yeah, it's a pain. But sometimes they just testing your patience. Show me the data if you're losing money.
