VPN for Netflix - Why does it keep blocking me? smh

So I finally got around to trying some VPNs to watch Netflix overseas and of course it's a circus. I read all the hype about Nord, Express, CyberGhost and even some tiny obscure ones but honestly they all just keep blocking my access after like 2 minutes. I even paid for dedicated IPs thinking that'd fix it but nope, Netflix is smarter than my VPN game. Streaming used to be smooth but now I get the dreaded proxy error every time and I swear I wanna throw my laptop out the window. I tested my speed, checked protocols, tried different servers, turned off IPv6 and nothing works. It's like Netflix is on a mission to ruin my binge nights. Anyone actually getting consistent access with these VPNs or am I just doomed to keep getting blocked? This is getting ridiculous and I don't wanna waste more money on VPNs that just don't do what they promise. Help a frustrated streamer out before I give up and go back to cable.

Over 80% of VPNs get blocked within weeks, ymmv with dedicated IPs but even that isn't foolproof anymore.

yo different angle: maybe Netflix just wants u to pay for legit subs, lowkey. VPNs are a hack but they keep upping the game. no shame in bailing and going legit if it's stressing u

You sure you're testing the right VPN servers? Sometimes Netflix blocks entire regions or IP ranges, not just specific servers. Also, have you tried more obscure VPNs that don't advertise themselves for streaming?

Bruh, are you using a legit VPN or just some free one? Sometimes the free ones get blocked real quick by Netflix.

spot on. i been thru this too, use a good VPN like windscribe or nord and switch servers if u get blocked. sometimes netflix detects and blocks the same IP, so gotta keep changing it up.

yep exactly, switch servers if u get blocked. but I've noticed sometimes even the best VPNs still get caught if Netflix updates their proxy detection. do u use a VPN that changes IPs often?

Yep exactly, but I gotta say, how often do these VPNs really stay ahead of Netflix's detection methods, especially with their latest updates? smh

just my 2 cents, how often do u actually switch servers? sometimes u gotta switch more often than u think to stay ahead of the detection game. anyone using VPNs with rotating IPs?

tbh actually, I'd say around 70% of the time my VPN still works with Netflix, but I do switch servers like every few days. My experience is different from some here, but keeping rotating IPs and using VPNs with obfuscation tech really helps.

switch servers more often, fam. Netflix's detection gets smarter, sooo just switching IPs every now and then ain't enough. Rotating IPs with VPNs that have auto-rotation or multiple servers helps stay ahead longer.

Last month I spent days trying different VPNs, switching servers, doing all that and still got blocked. Honestly, Netflix is on some next level detection game now, no matter what. I feel like if they wanna block you, they will.

Disagree, I've tried that too and Netflix still blocks me after a few days. I think they got smarter, like, I've seen cases where even with IP rotating, they detect VPNs based on

Thanks for the tips y'all, yeah I use a paid VPN but still get hit sometimes smh. I try switching servers but netflix keeps catching me, wonder if they got smarter. Gonna try different VPNs and see if that helps.
