Trying to figure out how HARO and connectively fit into link building

hey guys so I've been reading about all these different ways to get authority links and honestly I'm kinda lost. came across HARO and also this connectively thing that's supposed to connect bloggers and journalists and sites or whatever. sounds promising but idk how to actually use it for link building. like do I just pitch a story or is there some specific waaay to position myself for backlinks? people say it's white hat and legit but it's confusing cause I don't wanna waste time on stuff that won't get results or worse get flagged. I get HARO is about responding to journalist queries but how do I make sure I actually get links from it? do I need good credentials or some site authority already? and connectively - I think it's a platform to connect with sites right? is it more about outreach or guest posting? or just a way to find link opps? imo I see a lot of talk about outreach emails PBNs guest posts but HARO and connectively seem kinda different? honestly I just wanna build some quality links w/o risking my site or wasting time on bad tactics. if anyone's used HARO or connectively for link building and got decent results I'd really appreciate some guidance. like how do you approach it what's the best way to pitch and do you think it's worth spending time on? sorry if I sound noob but I really wanna understand how to add these to my strategy without just throwing spaghetti at the wall. thanks in advance

Had a client once swear by HARO, but it was mostly about timely responses and solid pitches. connectively? More like a directory, so if you're pitching guest posts or outreach, it's handy.

bruh, I disagree, HARO can be kinda dead for links if you're not fast and don't have legit story angles, I've seen way better ROI with direct outreach. connectively? Honestly feels more like a link op finder than a for legit backlinks.

So you really wanna use HARO and connectively for links or just find opportunities? HARO can get you backlinks if you respond fast with good pitches but it's not a guaranteed win. connectively seems more like a directory, so it's more about

been doing this 3 years, and honestly HARO is hit or miss, like I get maybe 2-3 backlinks a month from it if I respond super fast and have a solid story angle. connectively? More like a list of sites to outreach or guest post, but it's all about quality outreach not just blindly pitching. Do you guys think timing and relevance matter more than a perfect pitch?

Disagree, HARO and connectively are often misunderstood. HARO is more about getting mentions and citations, not pure link building, and connectively? Imo, that's just a buzzword for some fancy outreach.

bruh, I remember thinking HARO was just for links till I saw some clients get legit mentions and press. connectively? more like a shiny new outreach term I see ppl tossing around.

disagree, HARO actually nets about 30% more press mentions than pure link outreach and 70% of those mentions turn into backlinks over time. connectively? still mostly a vague term for outreach tools, not a proven tactic.

HARO is basically the Craigslist of link building, everyone's got a different story but it can still net legit mentions if you play it right, so don't dismiss it as just a citation tool. as for connectively, it might be just another shiny outreach buzzword, but if you actually integrate it with a solid outreach system, you can turn those contacts into backlinks ymmv. here's a tip focus on turning HARO mentions into follow-up opportunities not just one-and-done pitches.

Haha, I once thought HARO was just spam bait till I actually landed a legit interview that got me a backlink and some press. connectively? I think it's just a buzzword peddled by some outreach tools trying to sound fancy, ymmv.

Disagree, I think connectively is just a fancy buzzword for outreach workflows, not a whole new thing. But how do you guys actually incorporate HARO into a real link strategy without it just being a luck game?

lol honestly i think HARO can be a goldmine if u got the right pitch but people sleep on it way too much. connectively? never really used it but sounds like just fancy outreach workflows to me

different angle: maybe connectively is just a fancy term for how we organize outreach, but i wonder if ppl are missing how HARO can actually drive legit backlinks if u do it right, not just pitch blindly. so, do u think the real value of HARO is the journalists, or just the backlinks?

Thanks for the insights guys, really appreciate it. Yeah, I get that HARO is more about mentions and press, not just backlinks, and connectively still feels kinda fuzzy. Ymmv, but I guess I gotta look at it more as a way to build relationships and brand mentions rather than just link juice. Thanks again, yall rock!
