Tiered Link Building - T1, T2, T3 Fail?

Tiered Link Building - T1, T2, T3 Fail?

Been trying this tiered approach for months now and honestly it feels like a waste of time. T1s are solid niche edits or legit guest posts, then T2s are supposed to boost the T1s with PBNs or spun content and T3s are just spam links. But the rankings barely move, and I keep burning money on these tiers. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or the whole tiered system is just dead? Curious if anyone else is still getting results with this or if I should just ditch it altogether. Feels like I'm just chasing ghosts.

Honestly, tiered links are kinda like dating apps - sometimes you think it's gonna work but turns out most of the time it's just a swipe and a miss.

Haha, yeah I feel you. Tiered links sometimes feel like throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping it sticks but it rarely does. Imo, if the tiered approach isn't giving results after a few months, maybe it's just time to move on or focus on quality backlinks that actually move the needle. Sometimes less is more, especially if you keep burning cash on junk links that don't do anything.

man start with testing fewer tiers and more natural links first, worked wonders for me. I used to stack too many tiers and burn cash with little results, once I cut back and focused on quality T1s only, my rankings shot up. Maybe you're overcomplicating it or chasing ghost links? Sometimes less is more if the quality is there.

Been doing this 3 years and I disagree, I think if your T1s are solid but you're failing on T2 and T3, maybe it's the quality or relevance of those tiers, not the whole method.

different angle: sometimes the failure isn't tiered link building itself but how you structure the tiers, like not properly anchoring or mixing spammy T3s with T1s. gotta keep the link juice flowing smoothly or it just

Ever had issues with mixing spammy T3s with T1s? I messed up a campaign once and saw the tier structure collapse quick. Properly vet your tiers and keep the link juice clean.

link juice not flowing? maybe ur tiers are just too lazy to pass it along. ever tried breaking down T3s into smaller, cleaner chunks?

Link juice is like that one friend who never knows when to leave the party. Try using Ahrefs to check your backlink profiles and see if your tiers are actually passing juice or just hanging out for no reason

u ever tried splitting ur T3s into even smaller, more legit links? I did that once after a flop and saw the juice flow much better, actually. sometimes u gotta break it down to keep it clean.

yo been doing this 14 years and honestly i've seen tiers fail more often when the links are too bulky or spammy. once i broke down some T3s into smaller, niche-specific links and saw the juice flow way better. sometimes less is more, even in tiers

try reducing the number of tiers and focus on quality T1 links first. ever notice how sometimes over-tiering makes the juice get lost? ask yourself if every link in the chain really needs to pass link juice or if you're just overcomplicating.

bruh yeah, totally, less is more sometimes. u gotta keep the T1s tight, then build out from there, not just throw a bunch of tiers and hope for the best lol. less spam, more juice lol

Have you tried mixing up your tier structure? I did once and my rankings shot up. Sometimes less tiers but higher quality links in each tier work way better for me.

Nah, I disagree with the idea that tiers are always the problem. sometimes the real deal is in the quality and relevance of those links, not just the number of tiers. imo, it's about how you mix them up and avoid making the whole chain look spammy. a solid T1 that's relevant beats 5 tiers of junk any day.

just my 2 cents: do you think maybe the issue is more about link quality and relevance rather than just tiers? sometimes fewer tiers but legit links in each seem to work better. kinda makes me wonder if overthinking tiers is a distraction from actual link value.
