Guys I just found out about paid traffic for affiliate. Its wild. Facebook, Google, TikTok all got their own style. Never done paid before but I wanna try. Where do I even start? What should I learn first? Just need a simple roadmap to get moving. Been reading but feels like too much info at once.

Never done paid before but I wanna try
never done paid before but I wanna try, huh? Seen this movie before. It's like jumping into the deep end without a life raft. My advice - start small, pick one platform, learn its quirks and test, test, test. Don't get sucked into the shiny object syndrome, focus on mastering one at a time. And for gods sake, track everything and keep it simple. Otherwise you'll drown in data and get nowhere fast. Just my two cents, but patience and persistence are key.

Pick one platform, learn its ad types and targeting first. Facebook usually easiest for beginners, then test different creatives and hooks fast. Test it, then scale what works.

Test it, then scale what works
yeah, that's the classic move, right? Find what hits, then pump the gas on it. But the tricky part is knowing when it really works versus just a lucky spike. A lot of folks get hyped by a small win and start scaling before they understand the WHY behind it. Fun times.

Seen this movie before
It's tempting to jump straight into big budgets but if you don't have a solid testing process, you'll just burn cash chasing ghosts. So I'd say, test methodically. Keep your audience narrow, creatives fresh but consistent, and don't be afraid to kill stuff that's not working fast. Scaling's easy when you're confident you understand what's making the numbers move. Otherwise, you're just throwing money at a dartboard.

Haha, yeah, seen this movie a million times. Jump in headfirst without a plan, then wonder why everything's a mess. Best way is to pick one platform, get a feel for the ad types and targeting, and just crush some small wins. No need to be a hero on all fronts at once. Keep it simple, learn the quirks, and don't get distracted by shiny objects.

Oof, starting from scratch on paid traffic is like jumping into a lion's cage with a stick. Pick one platform, learn its ins and outs. Facebook is usually easiest for noobs but TikTok's got that viral vibe. Google is a beast but good for intent. Don't try to master all three at once. Focus. Test small, scale fast if you find a winner. The key?

OH MY GOD, PICKING ONE PLATFORM AND LEARNING THE BASICS IS 100% THE WAY TO GO. PEOPLE OVERTHINK THIS STUFF. Facebook might be the easiest for newbies but you gotta remember, only about 1.2% of viewers actually buy from a single ad. The rest is just noise. Google is good for intent but a nightmare if you don't know what you're doing.

Where do I even start
Start by asking yourself if you really understand what a customer actually wants, not just where to place the ads. Most new folks jump into platforms without that mindset and wonder why ROI stays low.

Start with TikTok if your geo is hot right now, their user base loves quick hooks and cheap traffic. Facebook is decent if you got a good pixel and know how to scale but be ready for banhammer waves. Google is a slow burn but if you got strong keywords and good landing pages it can pay well. Honestly I'd test all three but focus on TikTok first if you want fast wins. Each platform has its tricks but don't get stuck overthinking where to start. Just pick one and kill it till it turns sour then switch.

Start with TikTok if your geo is hot right no
TikTok can work but not for every geo, especially if the traffic quality is key. Sometimes the cheap quick hooks bring volume but low EPC. I prefer starting with FB for more control and scaling if you know your creatives and audience. TikTok's a gamble, better to test small first.

It's all about the narrative you wanna build. If your audience is quick on the uptake and your geo is hot, TikTok can be a good entry point to test hooks fast.

Facebook's decent if you got a pixel and know how to scale but beware the wave of bans. Google takes longer but if you've got strong keywords and a clear offer, it can be a steady drip of conversions. The trick is to start where your story hits hardest and then expand from there, never put all your eggs in one platform.

Honestly I think everyone's overthinking this. Starting with FB, Google, TikTok it's like picking between a hammer and a screwdriver. They all work if you know how to use them but most newbies just chase shiny objects. I say flip that script. Don't start with the shiny plat... start with the one that costs the least, gives you the quickest feedback, and doesn't burn your entire budget. TikTok can be great but if your geo's not hot or your niche is clunky, it's just throwing darts blindfolded. Same with Facebook, it's a landmine if you don't know how to dodge bans or don't have a good pixel and a scalpel for targeting. Google's slow and boring but at least it's predictable. The others? Fire and ice depending on the day and your creative. But truth is, none of them are magic. All of them are just tools and if you don't have a clear funnel, LTV game plan or even a good hook, you're just wasting money. I swear most guys treat these platforms like magic beans instead of machinery. Pick your poison but don't expect to hit ROAS out of the gate.

Honestly, I think everyone's overthinking it. U can get started with any of those platforms, depends on ur niche and what ur trying to do. TikTok can be quick if u got the content that hits, but not always sustainable long term. FB is decent if u got a pixel and know how to scale but the bans are a constant headache. Google can be slow but if u do the keyword research right, it sticks. Bottom line, just pick one and get ur hands dirty. U don't need to master all at once, just learn to use what works best for ur traffic and niche.

Here's the thing though starting with just one platform is like trying to learn to swim with one arm most of the time you need to diversify fast because your audience is everywhere and depending on your niche one platform might just be dead end for you sooner or later so don't put all eggs in one basket even if it feels safer at first

okay, but seriously, where to start depends on what kinda LPs and creatives you got. i mean if you're just diving in blind, pick a platform with the least headwinds for your niche, then learn to cook it till it's smooth. but honestly most noobs chase shiny objects and get cooked, then wonder why they can't scale. pick one and stick with it long enough to see if it's worth your time. if not, move fast, but don't jump around like a headless chicken.

my advice? pick the one that aligns best with your niche and your existing assets. fb's got the lowest barrier and decent targeting if your creative's on point. google's tougher but bigger cpc, so if you got good lp and wanna scale fast, it's worth a shot. tik tok's a wildcard, but if your audience is there and your creatives hit right, it can blow up quick. don't try to be everywhere at once, learn one platform deep, then expand. that's just how it works.
