Man, I gotta say, I miss the old days when you could rent some high authority PBN and get instant results. I remember back in 2018, I rented a few sites for a couple hundred bucks a month, and just by throwing in some guest posts, I saw rankings climb like crazy. I'd pull in a few thousand organic visitors from those quick wins. Now, it's like everyone's so paranoid about black hat, but truth is, I still snag decent traffic with those methods. Recently, I tested renting authority again for a niche site, dropped 300 bucks on a PBN, and got a 40% boost in rankings within 2 weeks. Sure, it's kinda risky now, but when done smart, it still works. Just wonder, is it really dead or am I just missing something? Feels like the old days when you could just buy authority and blow up. Anyone still doing this or is it just playing with fire now?

been doing this for over a decade and honestly, renting authority now is way riskier than before. sure, you might see some quick wins, but the penalties and deindexing chances are higher than ever. 40% boost in 2 weeks? yeah, but what about the long-term health of the site? it's just not worth it anymore.

last month I tried renting authority again after years of avoiding it, and yeah, got burned with a penalty smh. I think people forget how fast algo changed, what worked in 2018 just screams red flag now. Still got

just my 2 cents, I tried renting authority a couple times recently and it's like playing with fire. one time I got lucky and saw some quick boosts, but the next time I got hit with a penalty that wiped out months of work. honestly, the risk now outweighs the reward if you ask me.

just my 2 cents, I remember back in 2017 I rented a high authority PBN for a niche site and it worked like a charm, got me top rankings fast but then I got slapped with a penalty and learned my

spot on but you gotta realize renting authority in 2023 is way riskier than 2018, don't forget how much algo updates have changed the game.

like, i'd say around 60% of the time renting authority still pulls decent traffic but the risk factor is way higher now. had a similar test last month, got a quick bump but then saw my rankings tank hard after a couple weeks. feels like you gotta be extra careful or it's just a ticking time bomb fam.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly, I kinda miss those days too. My tip is, if you're gonna still mess with PBNs, always vary your link placements and add some fresh content. Keeps it kinda less obvious, ymmv.

Haha yeah, like everything in SEO, it's all about how much risk you wanna take. Sure, it's kinda risky now but when done smart, it still works. Just gotta be sneaky, diversify your links, and not make it obvious. The algo's smarter but not perfect, so if you keep it semi-natural, you can still pull decent traffic.

actually i think renting authority is kinda dead lol. like, back in 2018 you could get away with a $200 pbn and see 3-4x roi, now even a $300 drop barely moves the needle long term. most decent sites got hit hard by updates, so i'd say if u want long term growth, better just build your own authority or focus on real content. the quick wins are gone, imo

careful with thinking you can keep it all low risk, sometimes you gotta accept that high reward methods come with high risks too, and overdoing it can get you burned quick.

Disagree here, I think renting authority can still have a place if you're selective and not overdoing it. I've seen some folks get decent long term gains by mixing PBNs with other tactics, not relying solely on quick wins. It's not dead, just gotta be smarter about it. Nothing lasts forever but that doesn't mean it's completely useless.

Honestly I think renting authority is kinda dead in parasite SEO unless u got a really niche that still works lol but idk if its worth the hassle anymore especially with all the newer algo updates.

Disagree on that. I've seen sites with renting authority still pull 20-30% higher dr and rev, especially in micro-niches with less competition. Sure, algo's tougher, but if u do it right and target small low competition spots, it's still worth testing. ymmv but don't sleep on it completely. Keep testing and adapt

Last month I tested some renting authority stuff in a pretty competitive niche and it still worked better than I expected, especially for quick wins. I think it's not dead, just more risky and requires more finesse now. ymmv but I'd say it's still a legit tactic if u do it right.

thanks for the love and insights guys. yeah, niche still matters but don't rely on renting authority alone, algo changes hit hard. bookmarking for sure, always gotta stay flexible. anyone still seeing good results with it, or just staying cautious?
