this reminds me of back in the day when everyone was hyper focused on resource page links. it was simple, effective and mostly white hat. you'd find a niche relevant page, reach out with some solid content, and boom, backlinks. I used to do it with a few templates and a targeted list, and it worked like clockwork. nowadays everyone talks about PBNs and risky stuff but I swear, resource pages still work if you do it right and keep it legit. I guess I'm nostalgic for those cleaner days when outreach was straightforward and the results were reliable.

lol resource pages, man. those were the good ol days before everyone started chasing risky PBN stuff. still got some clients who swear by legit outreach and honestly, it works if you keep it tight. but yeah, now the game's all about scale and automation, makes it feel like the good simple days are long gone. it's like trying to find a clean sheet in a dirty laundry pile, but when you do it right, it hits different. this is the way.

Yeah, resource pages had their charm, simple and effective. now it's all about scale and risk but I agree, if you keep it legit and targeted, those pages still bring some decent juice. nostalgia for the cleaner days, but gotta adapt or get left behind.

bro honestly i think resource pages are a bit overrated these days. yeah they used to be straightforward and reliable but the game changed. everyone's got their hands in risky PBNs and the landscape got more noisy and competitive. if you're doing legit outreach still and seeing results, good on ya, but I wouldn't bet my whole strategy on resource pages anymore. it's more about the blend now, mixing safe backlinks with smarter content and targeting. those days might have looked cleaner but the market evolved. gotta keep up or get left behind, for real.

Resource pages still work if you do it right but let's not put lipstick on a pig. The game shifted towards scale and risk for a reason. You can still get decent juice from legit outreach but don't expect the same easy wins as back in the day. Sometimes I think everyone romanticizes those simple days to avoid facing today's noisy competitive landscape. Keep it legit, sure, but don't expect miracles either.

thanks for that, juice. I've been running some fresh outreach for resource pages on a couple niche sites and surprisingly, still getting decent results. it's all about quality and relevance now, not just volume. sometimes I wonder if we're just dressing up old tricks in new clothes.

Yeah, those were the days when you could just slap up a quick resource page, toss in some keywords, and watch the conversions roll in. Now the algo's so smart it chews through that stuff like a hot knife through butter. Plus, the quality of traffic from those pages was always hit or miss. Nowadays it's all about chasing the next hot angle or sneaky placement, no shortcuts anymore. Feels like everyone's just trying to hack the system harder but forgetting that most of this is just noise anyway.

yeah I feel you it's like the old days of just tossing up some quick LPs and getting easy wins but now the data tells a different story it's all about finesse and the right offer mix. those resource pages worked for a hot minute but now the market's too savvy or maybe just too crowded.

Yeah, those days felt simpler. Now if your LP or resource page isn't razor sharp, you lose. Market's brutal

Yeah I see both sides on this. Those resource pages had their moment but the market got too crowded, too quick.

Now it's all about finesse, creatives and the right offer mix. You gotta think about LTV and target the right GEOs to make it work now. It's kinda like going back to the basics but with a twist...

i think that's a bit of nostalgia talking. resource pages were never the golden ticket, they were just easy wins for a hot minute. now the market's moved on, and creative testing and offer angles are king. you gotta remember that split-testing creatives is infinitely more important than trying to perfect some static resource page. if your creatives hit, the LP is just a landing pad.

Remember when resource pages were the golden ticket
You're speaking my language. I remember those days too. It was like, throw up a page, slap some testimonials, and watch the conversions roll in. but as soon as everyone caught on and started doing the same thing, the whole thing lost its spark. now, if you want to stand out, it's all about the right creative, the right angle, and really understanding the audience. resource pages are just one piece of the puzzle now, not the whole game.
