man just stumbled back into this affiliate thing and wow stuffs changed so much. used to think all i needed was a decent landing page some ppc and boom leads pouring in. now its like multi-channel this retarget that. tbh the basics still work imo. back then id just find a good offer slap it on a lander buy cheap traffic and get paid. now seeing all these big networks and fancy tools but sometimes i think we overcomplicate it. anyone else feel like the old school way still has juice or is everyone just chasing shiny new things. feels kinda nostalgic how simple it was compared to all the tracking pixels crms and multi-layer funnels now.

ok so most of that stuff is just shiny object syndrome, ymmv, old school still works if you keep it simple and test smart

different angle: do you think the basics still work because ppl haven't caught on or just because they're actually effective?

just my 2 cents: i think the old school way still works if ur good at grabbing attention and keeping it simple. sometimes ppl just want quick solutions not fancy funnels. but tbh the new tools can speed up

Spot on. I remember back in the day I got results just by slapping up a simple page and buying cheap Facebook clicks. Now I see guys overthinking everything and missing the point that people just want quick, straightforward solutions sometimes. The basics aren't dead, just kinda got buried under all the shiny tools.

i think you're underrating how much the core still works. I started with simple landers and bought cheap traffic, still do sometimes. The game's just evolved, but basics stay gold if you keep it tight.

Last month I tried the throw-up-a-landin-and-hope approach, lol. Didn't work, lost my cpc. Turns out you gotta do more than just make a page and hope people fill out.

Been doing this 3 years, and honestly, that approach is dead. My CTRs tanked to like 1-2% last quarter and my cpm went up 30%. Gotta test, optimize, and target better now or you just burn money lol.

last month I just threw up a landing and hoped for the best but nah, cpc tanked and leads dried up fast. Are ppl really still thinking just a landing page works or is it more about audience segmentation now?

bruh, honestly I think that kinda mindset is just a quick ticket to burnout. You gotta focus on audience targeting and offer relevance now, not just a landing and pray. Woulda saved me a lot of wasted cpa early on.

most folks think that worked back in the day but honestly it was never sustainable. sure, a simple landing could get some quick wins but now it's all about data, audience and consistency. you gotta build a system not just throw and pray.

, guys. Yeah, throw-and-pray ain't cut it anymore, gotta test and target smarter. Audience segmentation is key, for real, that's where most folks screw up.
