Proxy for ticket scalping - wtf is going on with speeds?

Bruh, I've been trying to use this residential proxy for ticket scalping and it's a nightmare right now. Speed tests are all over the place, some days it's decent, then it tanks to like 50ms ping and 1mbps. I'm losing my mind cause I need stable, fast connections and this thing is just flaky. Tried a few providers, but no real difference. It's like they advertise lightning fast but I get stuck waiting for pages to load or connections just drop mid-buy. Anyone else dealing with this? Or is it just my luck? Need some legit advice cause I'm about to throw in the towel and switch to datacenter but I don't wanna get blocked or flagged. Ugh, this isn't how it's supposed to work, I swear proxies should be reliable for this kinda stuff.

yo different angle: had a buddy who swore residential proxies were the way, but turned out they were just as flaky as yours, sometimes worse. got to the point he just gave up and went datacenter, but then flagged his accounts. kinda feels like no matter what, there's always a trade-off with these things.

bruh, I get it. tried blitzproxy, legit stable as hell compared to others. might be worth a shot if you're sick of the flaky crap

Anyone else dealing with this? Lol, I remember thinking residential proxies were the golden ticket too, then boom, same story, flaky as hell. Like you're rolling the dice every time, no promises, just hopes it holds up. Maybe some just got lucky with stable ones but damn, it's a mess sometimes.

Careful with residential proxies for ticket scalping, rn it seems like a gamble. I used to think they were reliable but yeah, they can be super flaky, unpredictable ping and speeds, just like u said. Honestly, switching to datacenter might be easier, but yeah, u risk getting flagged. U think any proxy providers out there rn that are actually

switching to datacenter proxies might fix your speed issues but watch out for detection, especially if you're doing a lot of buying. Some providers are better at stealth than others, ymmv. Might be worth testing a few before fully jumping ship.

bruh, I feel ya, I was on residentials and speeds were all over the place, like from 150ms to 600ms ping and 0.5 to 2 mbps. Switched to datacenter and instantly got stable 20ms ping and 100+ mbps, but yeah, risked getting flagged. ymmv with that tho.

Honestly, that's the move. I've been burnt trying to rely on just one provider, so I always test a handful first. No point in locking yourself into one if it's flaky, right?

Honestly, I think residential proxies are just inherently flaky for this kind of thing. I got the same issues, then switched to datacenter and never looked back. Feels like trying to run on a treadmill with a broken belt, so much instability

if you're sticking with residentials, try running multiple tests at different times and keep a log of which ones perform best during your key buy windows. Sometimes certain providers or locations are more stable on specific days or hours. Also, switching to a provider that offers static residential IPs can help cut down on the flakiness.

Haha, speeds are so wild I swear I saw a bot beat my proxy to the ticket by a hair. Once I thought I had a solid setup, then boom - a new proxy pops up and destroys my rev. It's like a race with no finish line sometimes.

man careful with thinking speed is everything tho, maybe some of these bots just get lucky with the IP pools or somethin. Have you tried switching up proxies mid-race? Or is it just a constant fight against some invisible monster?

last month i thought i had a decent proxy setup but man, the speeds were so inconsistent. One second i was in, then boom, someone with a faster proxy snatched the ticket. I think it's more about luck and the IP pools than just raw speed. Tried switching proxies mid-race but no guarantee it helps.

yep exactly, speed is just one part of the puzzle tho, maybe some of these bots are using smarter techniques like better IP pools or even different tactics to get around the proxies, so even if you up your speed, they might still outsmart you somehow.

ok so been doing this 4 years and I gotta say, the OP's post about "speed" is kinda off. It's not just about how fast u hit the button, sometimes it's about proxy quality and IP pool management. Speed is only part of the game, bruh.

Bruh, speeds are not the only thing affecting tickets. I've seen proxies with 300-400 ms ping still get in just fine while some with 50 ms don't. I think the bigger factor is how well the proxy pool is managed and how the bot is coded, not just raw speed lol

Proxies with rotating IPs and low latency are key rn. But if you're still seeing slow speeds, maybe check how often your proxy pool refreshes. Some providers limit speed per IP or block certain regions, so switching it up or getting dedicated proxies might help. Do you think proxy location or provider type could be a factor?

Haha, speeds are like trying to beat a cheetah with a tricycle sometimes. One thing I swear by is using a dedicated proxy server close to the ticket site's data center, not just random rotating proxies. Ymmv but low-latency proximity can give u that edge even if ping ain't the lowest overall.
