Proxies for SEO tools which ones actually work for safe Google scraping?

so I'm trying to figure out if spending extra on residential proxies is really gonna pay off when scraping Google. Ymmv but I keep hearing residential are safer but man, they cost a fortune. Data centers are cheap but I keep getting flagged or blocked after a few queries. Mobile proxies sound promising but are they worth the extra hassle? Price vs quality is confusing as hell, especially when some providers charge peanuts and their proxies get banned quick. Anyone got real experience or legit proof that one type is way better for SEO tools and scraping without getting banned? I'm tired of wasting cash on proxies that look good but turn out to be trash or get me banned fast.

Last month I tried mobile proxies for a client and honestly they worked way better than cheap data center ones, but yeah, setting them up was a pain. Cost wise, they're a pain but if you're scraping

Mobile proxies can actually save you headaches long term, but do you think the extra hassle is worth it compared to risking bans with cheap data centers?

last month i tried data center proxies and got banned quick, so i switched to residential ones and honestly they last way longer but cost a ton more. mobile proxies? kinda a pain to set up but they seem to be the safest long term. honestly, it's a trade-off, but if u got the budget mobile might be worth it.

Been at this for 15 years and I swear, I once spent a week trying to figure out why my data center proxies kept getting flagged. Switched to residentials, and I barely got blocked after a month. Then I tried mobile proxies and honestly, they lasted the longest but were a nightmare to manage. So yeah, I'd say if you're just scraping small stuff, residentials might be the sweet spot, but for bigger scale mobile's probably better if you can handle the hassle. But bruh, nothing's perfect, lol

Careful with assuming residential proxies are always safer long term. I've seen legit providers give out cheap residential proxies that get banned in a matter of days. Always test a small batch first before dumping a lot of cash.

just my 2 cents, i disagree that residential are always safer long term, had some legit residentials burn out quick even from top providers. my best luck lately has been with rotating mobile proxies, they're kinda tricky but last way longer and stay under the radar better if u set em up right. price is still a pain tho.

Ever tried checking the proxy's IP history before buying? High risk of cheap residentials is often 'cause theyre recycled or bad quality. lol

Appreciate the real-world tips, guys. Yeah, mobile proxies seem promising but the setup sounds like a nightmare. ymmv, but I guess it's about balancing cost, hassle and risk of bans. Anyone else tried mixing proxies or got other tricks?

Yep exactly. Wanna a tip? Rotate proxies often and use residential ones, they seem to blend in better with real user traffic.

Been doing this 4 years and honestly, residential proxies are king for safe Google scraping. Always rotate them fast and avoid datacenter ones unless you're cool with risking bans. Also, avoid using the same proxy for too long, keeps you under the radar.

i kinda disagree with the idea that residential proxies are always the safest. Sure, they're less suspicious but if you're scraping heavily, even residentials can get flagged or blocked. Have you guys tried mixing in some ISP proxies? They're not as common but seem to fly under the radar better for certain setups. Do you think it's better to stick to pure residential or should we consider a blend?

Proxies for SEO tools huh? Everyone's been hyping residential like it's the holy grail but honestly even they get burnt out if you're not careful. Sometimes a well-managed datacenter proxy with fresh IPs and smart rotation beats residentials if your volume

just my 2 cents, no proxy is 100% safe if u push too hard, even residentials can get flagged, so always keep it lowkey and rotate.

nah I gotta disagree a bit. Sure, datacenter proxies can handle some volume but the risk of getting flagged still rises quick if u push too hard. residentials are more natural and tend to stay under the radar longer, especially if u use good rotation and avoid hammering the same IPs. numbers wise, residential proxies tend to have a lower ban rate even at higher volumes. bruh, it's all about balancing the volume with the type of proxy and how smart your rotation is. u can't just rely on one type, mix it up.

different angle: maybe instead of chasing "safe" proxies, focus on mimicking human behavior and spreading requests out so u don't look like a bot, makes the proxies less relevant imo.

Yep exactly, the key is really in how u manage the request rate. Do u think using a delay timer between requests helps a lot or is it just a small part of the puzzle?

disagree a bit, proxies are just one piece, if u really wanna stay safe try to blend your scraping with natural browsing patterns, like random page visits and varying request times.
