Proxies for safe Google scraping with SEO tools

hey folks been messin with seo tools lately trying to scrape google without getting banned. residential proxies are way more reliable for this kinda thing but they can get expensive tbh. datacenter ones are cheaper but they get flagged way more so i usually avoid them. mobile proxies work too but they're even pricier and kinda overkill for most stuff imo. i use providers with good rotation and anti detection features but ymmv obviously. scraping with proxies is like a constant cat and mouse game so i keep my setup pretty flexible. anyone got recent experience with this or good provider recs?

are you sure residential proxies are always better? sometimes the low latency and high stability of datacenter proxies can actually reduce the risk of bans if you're careful with request patterns. have you tested how your setup performs with different proxy types over longer periods?

different angle: maybe think about mixin proxies instead of just goin all in on residential or datacenter. like, rotate 'em smart and keep request patterns random, then u might dodge bans better. sometimes a combo beats single type setups.

spot on, you gotta be skeptical with proxies sometimes. just cuz it's cheap or easy doesn't mean it's safe long term, especially with google's bot detection always evolving. gotta keep testing and not just blindly trust the hype.

Careful with thinking proxies alone will keep you totally safe. Google's getting smarter and more aggressive with bot detection. You need more than just proxies, like rotating user agents, timing, and good scraping habits.

Careful with just thinking proxies are enough, fam. The one thing a lot sleep on is mimicking human behavior like making random pauses or scrolling patterns. Without that, even the best proxies can get you flagged lol.

Been doing this 3 years and honestly, proxies alone are kinda overrated if you don't also mess with request headers and user behavior, just my 2 cents

Lol bruh I tried just proxies once and got totally blocked after like 10 mins, had to switch up everything else too. Feels like a whole mess sometimes.

different angle: I've seen folks blow through proxies thinking that alone keeps them safe but nah, you gotta also control request frequency and headers or you just get flagged quick. Use a tool like Oxylabs or Bright Data, they got rotating proxies plus some smart request controls built in

different angle: I see a lot of folks get lazy thinking proxies are the magic fix but like, 80% of success is how you control request timing and mimic legit user behavior. Anyone got stats on how many get blocked just from hitting too fast?

careful with just proxies tho, if you don't randomize user-agent and add delays it's easy to blow your cover even with the best proxies. fwiw, rotate IPs and make your requests look legit, not just slap a proxy on and hope for the best. stay sharp.

just my 2 cents, proxies alone won't save your ass if you don't mimic real user patterns. request timing, headers, user-agent rotation all matter way more than just IPs. ignore those basics and you'll get flagged fast rn.

different angle: proxies are just the surface, imho the real game is how you craft your request patterns, headers, and timing to blend in, else even the best proxies get burned fast

Proxies are just the start, imo, if you don't randomize user-agents, add delays, and mimic legit user behavior your scrape will get flagged quick. Keep it sneaky, always rotate and stay legit. lol
