Pop traffic - still alive or just wishful thinking?

been doing pop/redirect traffic for a month now and tbh im kinda over it. started with a small test like 1500 clicks only got maybe 20 conversions. cpa was okay but bounce rate was insane. kept changing the landing pages same thing every time. paid out about 250 but it's not really motivating. tried different niches offers even networks all the same. so frustrating cause everyone says pop works if you know how but idk maybe i'm missing something or is it actually dead? feels like no secrets left just pricey clicks that go nowhere. anyone still making pop work or is it just nostalgia at this point lol

spot on. pop traffic can be a pain especially with bounce rates that high. one thing I'd try is digging into the actual user intent behind the clicks and making sure your landing pages match what they're looking for exactly. sometimes it's just about the angle and timing, not just the traffic source.

Haha, pop traffic dead? I dunno man, I think it's still alive but maybe just harder to crack. Sometimes you gotta get really creative with those landing pages and offer angles, maybe even try some retargeting or smth. Keep at it or switch to something new, but don't write it off totally

ngl haha, pop traffic is like that old friend you keep trying to hang with even when you're not sure if they still got it. Maybe it's not dead, just hiding behind a bunch of noise and pricey clicks, idk. Sometimes you gotta be the one to crack the code or just switch to another playground. Keep grinding or switch it up, lol. Catch ya later.

Honestly, I'd say if you're bouncing from niche to niche and landing pages aren't sticking, maybe pop just isn't the move anymore. I tried it a couple years ago and got burned out fast. Think most of the good spots are just flooded now, and the cheap clicks are long gone, lol.

Honestly, I think pop is kinda like that old car that still runs but needs a lot of work to keep it alive. I gave it a shot last year and yeah, bounce rates were insane, even with fresh landing pages. kinda feels like unless you got a super niche angle or crazy offer, it's just more pricey clicks for not much gain anymore.

Dude, totally disagree, sometimes u gotta stop chasing the shiny and focus on refining the basics, like really dialing in ur targeting and landing pages instead of jumping to another playground. Switching can help, but often it's just a bandaid if ur fundamentals are

Been doing this 6 years and honestly pop traffic is kinda like that stubborn old dog. sometimes it barks, sometimes it just sleeps. sure, it's not the easiest anymore but it's not dead either, just needs a smarter approach and less hope for instant wins.

Different angle: I think sometimes people overlook the quality of the traffic or the offer matching. 1500 clicks can seem small but if the traffic is low quality or if the offer isn't aligned with the audience, results will suck no matter what. Maybe spend more time testing targeting and creatives rather than just jumping from niche to niche. Pop can still work but you gotta get the right traffic, not just any clicks.

started with a small test like 1500 clicks only got maybe 20 conversions man, I did smth similar last year with pop traffic, thought I was doin bad but then I tweaked the targeting and landed 50 conversions on 2k clicks. kinda wild how small changes make a big difference, right?

careful with that analogy, barking and sleeping ain't the same thing. pop traffic's a grind, and if it's dead for you it might just be your approach. had a buddy swear it was dead till he tried a different vertical and hit a jackpot. don't toss it out just yet, maybe you're missing a key piece. always something new if you look hard enough. stay sharp. know your angles

Honestly I think that's the key. I tried a bunch of pop traffic sources and most were junk. The ones that worked had super targeted, high-quality traffic. Without that, it's just throwing money at cheap clicks that don't convert. ymmv but I still believe pop can work if you really dial in the traffic

different angle: pop traffic is kinda still kicking but you gotta be super picky with the offers and targeting. my tip - test different geo's and mobile push traffic, not just the usual. got better results when I played around with less saturated markets.

ngl pop traffic still kicking, huh? My one tip - focus on dayparting, gotta hit those sweet hours when your audience is most active and cut the rest.

Been doing this for like 16 years now and honestly pop traffic is kinda still around but you gotta be way more selective. I remember when it was a free-for-all, now it's more about knowing when and where to hit. Sometimes I still see small wins, but mostly it's a game of patience and smart targeting.

Honestly, pop traffic still can work if you keep testing different landing pages and tweak your ad creatives often, don't just rely on the same old stuff.

Last month I tried mixing in some new geo-targeting with my pop traffic and saw a slight bump, so don't sleep on fresh angles. It's all about staying nimble and not letting your campaigns get stale. Who else is experimenting with different audience segments?
