Ugh I dunno what I am doing wrong but my backlinks are stacking up but rankings not moving. I tried a bunch of guest posts, outreach, even some PBN stuff but my link velocity is kinda fast I think. Like I just hit 20 links in a week and now everything feels frozen. Did I mess up? Is there a max speed I shouldnt go past? I just want my site to rank like others do but mine just sits there. Somebody tell me what I am doing wrong or if I should slow down. I am so frustrated lol.

yo disagree - ive seen sites rank just fine with a steady link velocity even faster than that, sometimes it's not about the speed but the relevance and quality of the links. 20 links in a week isn't necessarily too much if they're decent. maybe your on-site stuff

yep exactly, hitting 20 links in a week isn't necessarily bad, but if the links are low quality or too fast, it could raise flags and cause the freeze.

Did that happen to me once, piled up a bunch of links fast, site kinda froze for a bit. Nothing magical, just slowed down and waited. ymmv but I think sometimes the site just needs a breather.

been doing this 3 years and I'd say slow and steady can actually work better. rushing links can cause a temp freeze or algo flag, but not always. maybe try to spread it out more and see if that helps fam

just my 2 cents, yeah spreading out links might help but do you think maybe the site needs more time to breathe? or maybe check your backlink quality more? seems like timing and quality both matter here.

Somebody tell me what I am doing wrong or if I should slow down? lol, sounds like your site's been in a rush but the algo just hit pause. Do you have any data on how fast your links are growing compared to your niche? imo, if you're hitting 20 links in a week, maybe chill a bit and spread

adding some diversity in anchor texts and not just raw keywords can help with ranking stability too. if ur links all look the same, the algo might get suspicious. mix it up and give it time to settle.

different angle: sometimes I think we get so obsessed with stacking links fast we forget the site's gotta build trust over time, not just flood it with random backlinks and hope for the best. quality over quantity, always.

Ever try to boost way too fast, then suddenly site tanks? I did once, backlinks looked legit but rankings tanked, took weeks to recover. slow wins, but if u go too slow, you lose momentum, balance is key.

Most people go too fast and blow their load early, then wonder why they stuck. Try Ahrefs or SEMrush, see what's actually happening with your backlinks and rankings, then adjust pace. Slow and steady, but track that progress, don't guess.

60 backlinks in a week is already kinda fast, I saw a site tank after hitting 100 links in a month once. I went through a case study where they said anything over 20-30 links a week can start looking suspicious to Google. So yeah, maybe slow down or you risk getting hit with a penalty or no rankings move at all.
